Hey man! I was the Cammy that you played with Infil as your "coach" XD Great game man, really encouraged me to look into the matchups I don't know. Your Ken was super solid! Maybe I'll get to play you again!
You prolly dont care but does anybody know a trick to get back into an instagram account..? I stupidly forgot the login password. I would love any assistance you can offer me!
EternalGuardian07 I wanna make grand finals in melee, I can see it now, the taunt to end all taunts my opponent will either laugh their ass off, or go full skool shooter on my ass.
evo 2014 was my first game/anime/comic like convention I've ever been to, and it was absolutely amazing just as a spectator. I went again the following year and it was even better
I play multiple fighters. Street Fighter and Tekken are fighters I've played ever since I was a kid and series I hold near and dear to my heart. It'd be easier to enter for Virtua Fighter though because that's a series I've owned and played all throughout my life compared to Tekken and Street Fighter that I've only played in arcades and have never had solid playtime with. I'm also not in a good financial position (to put it in a better way than just saying I'm broke) to buy a PC/PS4 to play those games. If I did have the funds to though,I'd definitely jump into those.
Never went to a tournament but through what you just said it doesn't matter what place you had. Just the fact that you did your best says a lit about your character. Infiltration, he liked your style and the friends you made, amazing. Keep it up. Your words have helped me because I plat sf5ae since season 2 and thank you for the advice that you have given to the fmc community. Thank you and also keep telling people what you learned and shared about the fgc.
Nice shot with that poster (I'm the big dude in the middle of that 2016 EVO poster)! Glad you made it out! I've enjoyed your channel content for a while and look forward to more analysis and hype!
Thanks for this. I've always wanted to go but haven't. There must be a lot of interesting people to talk to there. Have to admit, it's pretty special for an event to celebrate a genre of gaming.
+Core-A Gaming yea that seems to cloud alot of people, Dont worry Man Focus on the character, Not the player. its how i improved, because nerves really suck badly
So far I've only gotten to observe EVO from a distance unfortunately. Always hype for the GG match-ups. I'll be rooting for ya the next time you compete.
I really really like your videos core a! They're professionally done, entertaining and fun to watch I even got into a fighting game after watching your videos! (killer instinct, still a scrub but having a lot of fun playing) Thank you very much for your videos!
watching this again to get hyped for August! Also a fan of your content - I really enjoy the style and presentation you put forth. Hope to see you there!
I wish I could go, I'm not good at this games, but I do enjoy from watching and from what they have to offer. Here in Argentina they also host some tournaments during the evo stream.
I've been playing fighting games since 94' starting on SF2:CE. When SF4 dropped in 09' I thought I was the only guy that played the games anymore, but I was wrong. I was blown away finding other people that loved the game. I also was shocked to hear about Evo the first time as well. I have attended it three times now, and I'll be frank to say if you haven't been there you don't understand what hype is till you go. You feel this huge amount of energy in finals. I so overpowering. If you guys get the chance GO!!! It will change how you see fighting games,
One of these years I'm gonna make it out to EVO, competing or not. Getting hype over the matches in the crowd has to be better than getting hype at home, alone.
I am from the UK and noticed yesterday that there was an esports channel on Sky and it was showing SFV stuff. Was busy so couldnt see what tourney it was.
can't wait till i get a job and learn to drive it'll be a lot of fun to be able to compete in smash locals across texas, and I might even attend evo if I think i've got what it takes hope you had a lot of fun, hopefully i'll be able to attend within a few years
I too watched those Street Fighter EVO Finals on Espn when it broadcasted. Even my sister and brother who don't give a damn about esports nonetheless fighting games watched and were getting hyped as well. If broadcasting esports has the power to do this then I think there needs to be a universal channel dedicated to broadcasting esport. Ik there is twitch but something on cable would be great. I do know TNT shows a counter strike league.
You know I've been thinking about this and kind of feel like sitting next to your opponent can be abused. I can't say for sure, but if you watch grand finals with Infiltration vs Fuudo, you'll notice Infiltration starts to win after he moves his chair farther back. Again I can't say for sure, but noticing the movement of someones hand on wake up for example can save you from getting caught. I also recall something about Diago switching to silent buttons in 4 because people were listening for his techs. I'm not going to say it's cheating but sitting next to the person rather than across can give you some benefits if you are good at picking up on those things.
Depends on intention I guess. But apparently Joe intentionally played behind Eita in his Top 8 match and in some angles they said they could see Joe looking hard at Eita's hands. I think Infiltration sat behind to play mind games with Fuudo. But yeah watching hands and listening for buttons is a tech with varying results. In EVO moment 37 Justin tried to throw off Daigo by mashing his buttons hard.
