This kind of thing is why I got off discord years ago. Some groups back then would meme dark/dank things, even just boring Star Wars groups I was in would have some disturbing memes and ways some of the users would talk, that’s probably why the LEO didn’t pay much attention to these kids doing this for so long. Thank goodness the records exist though. And discord has increased their standards in good ways since then. But even glimpsing that little shadow of the darkness is why I limit my kids access to being online, and it’s why I hope my kids just have pets instead of grandkids. I can’t take another round of trying to protect another generation until they have reached the age to be old enough to have the maturity to know their own best interests. It’s exhausting.

If Vivaldi can prosecute their police for inaction then Gilbert should, too. At least in Vivaldi they didn’t have months to consider the consequences.

From the discussion it doesn’t sound like the kids were required to present ID. They are old enough to drive how does someone just say they are someone else and that gets by?

Sick behavior by GPD. Sad. Hope they don't become victims of those they are turning a blind eye to.
