Hakushi was way ahead of his time. It's a shame he didn't get utilized better in WWF.

The criminal misuse of Hakushi was so blatant and jarring, it was actually what shattered kayfabe for me as a kid. No way could I believe a guy of that ability, who could wrestle absolute classics with Bret Hart, could be rubbing shoulders with jobbers by year's end.

I was boppin' along with Adam's singing during the intro song and my wife saw me and informed me that she Is more embarrassed with my dancing than the fact that I'm a wrestling fan... No shame. 😎

I went to middle school with Adam Bomb's cousin. I remember he overheard us talking about wrestling and he was like "wrestling ud fake I know my cousins is a wrestler". He mentioned something about wrestlers having a schedule that shows them when they are winning and losing or something like that. He seemed to be pretty angry he could have used it as a talking point but he just used it to shame us for watching wrestling. Think his first name is David but I just remember that he had red curly hair.

*What Happened To The Venue?* Opening all the way back in 1951, the 8,000-seat *Onondaga County War Memorial* has served as Syracuse's primary arena ever since. Aside from the first In Your House PPV the building's most recent televised WWE event was a Monday Night RAW event on April 6, 1998, the main event of which being D-Generation X defeating the Disciples of Apocalypse in a 6-man tag; as well as a notorious WCW Thunder taping on April 25, 2000, where David Arquette won the WCW World Championship. Outside of wrestling the arena's also had a storied history in professional sports: in 1951 it became the home to the NBA's Syracuse Nationals, who won the NBA Championship in 1954-55, the first season to feature a shot clock (something also invented in Syracuse by Nationals management), which stands the city's lone championship in North America's "Big Four" sports leagues, before they relocated in 1963 to become the Philadelphia 76ers. In addition, the War Memorial has hosted teams in the American Hockey League, the farm league of the NHL on-and-off since the arena's inception; the most notable being the present Syracuse Crunch, affiliate of the Tampa Bay Lightning, who've played there since 1994 and who have played in the Calder Cup Finals twice, in 2013 and 2017, losing both times. Its status as a minor league hockey barn is such that even some of the cult 1977 hockey film _Slap Shot_ was filmed there. Having just undergone a renovation in 2018, the aging War Memorial's future seems to be secured for the time being.

Oklahoma doesn't deserve a shout out in such a great song.

At a house show when I was a kid, we were front row and I was disappointed they gave us Smoking Gunns posters to hold up for the taping. I was hoping for a better...anybody... and that poster never made it onto my wall at home.

Every time, without fail, when I hear a wrestler mentioned in the video that’s also in the intro song I do this little stupid “oho!” noise and I CANT STOP DOING IT.
