Me too at 45! I had to give up a very important career and I spend my days now bedridden and on pain management… which only goes so far. No one would understand unless it happened to them. It is beyond depressing.
@@user-ze1ti5xt8z I don't know if truer words have been said ~ it's a very lonely, tortured way to live. And easy to become isolated. Sorry you're living it too.🙁
Thank you so much for this video. I've always wondered whatever happened to Ken Wahl. Loved his show "Wise Guy" and the movie "The Wanderers" I'll always remember that line being said many times throughout the film "Leave the boy alone"... (I know that wasn't Ken's line lol but it was a memorable one in the movie lol) I had many Ken Wahl pin-ups on my bedroom walls back in those days Loved him 💙
@@FactsVerse all the videos you post are absolutely awesome to see. As I've stated a few times before, very informative, always entertaining and wonderfully narrated... Lots of wonderful memories from my childhood years right through to now... Excellent channel. 💯💙💙
IF anyone knows me Ken Wahl was my first celebrity crush and still till this day 45 years later he still is. When i was about 15 I carried his picture in my wallet that i cut out of a magazine. He is so beautiful.
I loved Wise Guys!!! I couldn't wait to watch it.... He is gorgeous, handsome and cool...... He was in one of my favorite 🍿🎥🍿🎥🍿🎥 movie, The Favor....❤️❤️❤️.. 🌹🌹🌹...
My favorite memory of Ken was he and the late Ray Sharkey were in the bar after a brutal fist fight. They are resting as the police arriving at Nights In White Satin is playing on the jukebox. Such a sad scene. 😢😢
That is one of the most intense scenes between to male stars( Ray Sharkey & Ken Wahl) in a Television dramatic series that I have ever seen…I’ll never forget it, it left a lasting impression!
I loved The Gladiator when I was 16 and became a huge fan by the first episode of WISEGUY . I still got' em on VHS .. Way better than today's netflix BS series .. Great video, thank you .
He had IT ! That's a star quality very few have. I'm sorry for the sadness he's had in his life, but I'm happy to see he turned his life into helping others. It says a lot about his character. 👍
Fort Apache was good for the times, But Purple Hearts was his best! He should come back as the Doc as a follow up, now as chief surgeon for that hospital. Miss his work, always a fan.
He was in the 1982 film "JINXED!" with Bette Midler. They hated each other and the film was a huge bomb. He was quoted in the press to say he could only get through love scenes with her by thinking of his dog. He was horrible to her.
@@kristopherwilhite Not saying she wasn't a good actress..I loved her in Beaches..but when she started getting political..I was turned off..I wish these actors would stick to acting.
Myself and Ken Wahl have followed each other for many years on X/Twitter,and we are also Facebook friends, and the same goes for Shane Barbi,we have been friends for many years. They are both great human beings.
Absolutely! We feel the same way. Thank you for sharing your sentiments and for watching our content. What other types of video would you like to see on Facts Verse?
Actually, I don’t think I’ve ever seen Ken Wahl in anything, but my best friend is a huge “Wise Guy” fan and he talks about it frequently. I hadn’t heard that he was injured, so I was curious enough to watch the video.

I’ve always wondered what happened to Ken. Tough life. I loved Treasure Of The Yankee Zepher. Ken,Donald Plesance,George Peppard,Leslie Ann Warren. Decent film.
Wide Guy was a great show. And although he was an untrained actor he was great in his role and was as good if not better than most. I would have like to see the show to have continued.
I will always think of him as Vincenzo in Wise guy.His charisma an abilities an also u admire him in is quest to help wounded military veterans throughout his animal / dog rescue in helping the wounded warriors healing process an recovery
MY DADDY IS FROM THE SOUTH SIDE OF CHICAGO. IT WAS ROUGH BACK IN THE DAY. I READ THAT IT'S GENTRIFIED NOW AND GETTING PRICEY LIKE WEST HOLLYWOOD IN CALIFORNIA.
The first time I saw KW was in the Glickenhouse produced film The Soldiers. After that, "Boomer" was in my "Cool Book". I still watch Wise guy episodes online. His control agent/Contact, played by Veteran actor Jonathan Banks with the sleepy eyes😞, has been in God knows how many productions. He was in a Jeff Wincott movie, Last Man Standing.
@@FactsVerse An update Rick & A.J. Simon: Gerald McRaney, and Jameson Parker. I'd particularly like some info on his time in Wisconsin (He was a student at Beloit College).
Funny, he was having an affair with my friends wife when he was filming in Vancouver. He confronted him but his security kicked him out. My friends marriage with 4 children ended because of it and Ken Wahl kicked her to the curb when he was finished with her. Have no respect for him.
I watched Ken Wahl on Wise Guy I just thought that he was so adorable My youngest sister gave a Ken Wahl Calendar 📅 of 1991 it was beautiful and tasteful I will always remember Ken Whal ❤Farhana
It was a well known fact at the time that he had a mutual relationship with both barbi twins. Considered by many to be the luckiest guy in America at the time.😋😋😋😋
