@GC they knew UPN and WB were combining and changing formats. So they attempted to remix the show In order to cross it over to CW, but it didn’t work. Cast was getting older as well and the whole “One on One” concept wasn’t working anymore

Realistically the show had outlived it’s time all the kids were now young adults and the show was forced to change. They attempted to have them in college with a more diverse cast to cross over better with the CW lineup , but it didn’t work.

Most of these show's ended because of in fighting or the main actor just didn't want do it anymore. Also it's funny how every black show was canceled on UPN.
