I went to High school with Bernadette. It was nice to see that she became famous.

That sista had moves, such great energy, and was vibrant on Good Times. When I was little I wanted to be as gorgeous as her. I let my teen watch the show the other day for the first time. So many shades in one show was magnificent. I was so proud to be able to show it to her.

I worked with her last year. Men do try and get to her, she really gotta beat them off with a stick...it's crazy. But she's very professional and poised.

They are still my favorite show. To be in the hood when it came on,it gave us hope. My dad and mom move us out after 4 years. They was so much like our family.

She was a major character on a historically great tv show. Good Times had a great run, and is a huge pioneering part of American TV. Those of you in America may not realize the impact this show had worldwide. It was huge in places like Nigeria, the UK to name a few. I don’t remember hearing any stupid gossip stories about her, like you do with other celebs, over the years. Looks like she kept herself busy and productive. She’s still gorgeous.

I was bless to actually meet Mrs. Bernadette Stanis last year during her book seller booth on Randolph Air Force Base. She has aged so beautifully and just as fine. During her booking signing session, she was so down to earth and humble that me go even crazier over her. I hope one day that I will get the chance to meet her again.

My daughter met Thelma’s sister and niece when she and her husband lived in NY my daughter did take a picture of them. I just saw her at the ESSENCE FESTIVAL in 2018 (beautiful)......She had her own booth and selling her book. Got some photos and she is looking GOOD in person. She is aging like fine wine and still got it going on (MILF SUPREME). Gabriel Union was in another area at the festival taking photos. If I had a choice between the two (Gabriel) it would be Thelma. Some talk about women/BW hitting the wall, well this is a BW you would bring home to momma. Past young Thelma/Good Times and now Present Thelma.
