If any one reading this is worried about failing the ACFT, you will pass it. My biggest weakness was running first ACFT ran a 23 minute 2 mile. Third ACFT 2 miles at 15 minute.

You get a total of 5 tries throughout your IET status-3 times in BCT and 2 times in AIT. Even if you fail all, they will do their best to help you pass and get to your first duty station. You can pass the ACFT. Trust me.

I took an ACFT with my guard recruiter and got a 510. 240 MDL, 8.0 m throw, 50 HRP, 1:49 SDC, 3:00 plank, and 16 minute 2 mile. Just gotta get it up to a 550+ and we are good to go. I am heading up to BCT in May of 2023. I can't wait, LFG!!!

I don't know when I'm supposed to leave for BCT yet but I struggle doing proper pushups and staying in good form, my 2 mile run at this moment is about 25 minutes. I am practicing and working out but I'm absolutely terrified of not passing the ACFT and being recycled

If you signed your enlistment contract, you’d know your ship date. When I was at basic last year we had multiple people not pass the acft and they still graduated and got to go to AIT. I’m assuming it’s because the acft hadn’t been set in stone yet.

I passed all events first time except the plank! Fit to win messed up my shoulder since I fell on it but other than that, lemme let yall know I went from 12 hour desk job non active, no sports in highschool nothing, not involved in sports at all, and all I did was or know, was to control how you breathe!!! And push ups! Start doing them even just a month prior! But do PT forsure before that but lemme let yall know. YOU CAN EFFIN DO IT!

My ship date is less than a week left. I started running on treadmill with (1.0 incline) and my record for 2 miles was 24:30 which is fail. I am scared of failing ACFT. I really want to pass it and go to my first duty station😢

Hi DS. While still on RSP, what happen if trainee get injured (on his/her job and not in the military training) before ship to BCT?

Hi… my son has failed his PCFT. However, they are sending him to a remedial institute. What should he expect? He has worked so hard. How long will he get to be there?

Working his deficiencies and make him stronger faster and better. To be able to assist him in passing the ACFT better. Essentially, maintaining hard PT in the morning, moderate PT in the afternoon and possibly something like mobility, stretching, yoga, etc… in the evening. So i have 2 chances in BCT to pass it? I can max the push ups, plank, I make decent time during the sdc, and I can throw the ball. I CANNOT run or deadlift within the minimum standards, even though Ive been training.. How long into basic is the first ACFT?

Hello my son just got recycled and I felt so sorry for him. But I definitely did not let him know this! I was a single parent raising both of my boys and never taught them how to shoot guns or anything like that. And that is actually what he messed up on…. He didn’t qualify 😞😞 are there any tips I can give him? Because I don’t think he will be able to do this mentally again. Thank you for any advice you can give ❤️🙏🏽❤️

Being recycled does suck but look at it as this is an opportunity to do better than the last time. It’s actually better that he has no experience with shooting. That way he doesn’t have bad habits. The biggest thing is remaining calm and smooth. I know DS’s can be intense and annoying but act like he’s done this a million times, do what he’s been trained on and Jess got this. Just continue to reassure him, tell him you can’t wait to watch him graduate and hope proud you are of him.
