I lost 20 pounds last year eating watermelon for most of my meals. I am obsessed with watermelon. It also stopped my leg cramps too. I have RA and fibromyalgia and I swear it makes me feels better and lifts my mood. It’s a amazing fruit.
Nothing bad. I know an old man who grows melons and in the summer, when it's melon season, he only eats melons with cheese, in the morning, at lunch and in the evening. He is currently 92 years old.
My grandfather lived to be 104 and would drink a case of champagne a month. It doesn't have much to do with what you eat or drink, more like genetics folks. There are millions of healthy people in the cemeteries.

To this day I still eat backwards and unorthodox to others. My sister gets a big kick out of the crazy foods and how i consume them. I like the watermelon as the main course, and fried chicken for desert. Maybe some capers and salmon roe for appetizer with the watermelon.
Me too! When I was little we lived in south Ga and had no air conditioning. It was too hot to heat up the kitchen and we would just eat cold watermelon as the meal. It was sooo good! Mom had to have salt on hers. lol

No I chop the watermelon up put it into a blender with a little bit of water until its more or less liquidfied then pour it into the ice cube trays and freeze it! And when they begin to melt in your glass of water or whatever you want to drink they slowly flavour your drink ! But one tip to make the cubes last longer is to use an insulated thermos that keeps drinks cold they last a long time that way x

I am. However, I added watermrlon to current fruits I each, which are berries and one apple. Unlike Kali muscle, I fast for 16 to 18 hrs a day, and my first meal is fruits and then a salad for dinner.

Just be careful using the Nama J2 because the pulp in the fruit is needed for its fiber. When the juicer separates the pulp, that can cause an increase in your blood sugar. Doing a smoothie is much better for diabetics because you are also consuming the pulp which is highly needed. Happy Healing!
I have a Nama J2 as well and love it. Please don't use your Nama to juice fruits if your pre-diabetic. Like the other reply says removing the fiber will result in those sugars digesting unimpeded and ultimately spike your blood sugar for a nasty insulin spike. Instead focus on juicing vegetables (Spinach, Kale, wheat grass, lettuce, collard greens, etc) and herbs (turmeric, ginger, cilantro, celery etc.). If your going to juice fruits id recommend low sugar fruits like (grape fruits, cucumbers, oranges, berries)

Wild ("natural") watermelons were small, bitter and almost inedible. The watermelons you eat today have ALL been domesticated by man for many centuries or more. The same is true for ALL modern fruits.
It’s good blended with lemon and water..🙂.. It’s good dehydrated. You can make it into powder too. Anyway about to put some into food dehydrator..🙂..and make juice..It’s best to buy the seeded . You can find in some off name grocery stores. I’m talking about the watermelon with the black seeds. Some outside private vendors sell as well..

I live in the south and during the summertime the watermelons are so delicious, but if you eat too much of it, there’s a lot of fiber and it can cause gastric issues. If you eat too much of it, I juice the watermelon and enjoy the refreshing juice and I also, make watermelon popsicles and I’ve also put it in my glass container that I have plain water in to flavor the water and I also put the strawberries and blueberries in my water container along with cucumbers, but I do love the watermelon
I hate fruits less than vegetables. So I juice them and that’s how I’ve learnt to add them to my diet. I also make sure to keep all the seeds I get from all the fruits and blend them together so I can create my own supplements
@@Drenna1000 dry the seeds out for a few days, or you can speed the process up by baking them in the oven. Then you blend up the contents of what you have into a fine powder (or as close as you can get). Then with a capsule filling machine, fill up a batch of capsules and wallah self made supplements. These days I’ve been eating a lot of citrus and putting lemons in my water etc. so I use the waste and dry them out and make my own vitamin c supplements. It’s pretty labour intensive trying to manage it, but you can definitely save some money with this method and as a bonus, you know exactly what goes in your mouth, no preservatives or fillers.
All I know is that Watermelon is very addictive and orgasmic.......I put my melon in the fridge to get it nice and cold and then I cut off one third of it and put the rest of it back in the fridge........Now I cut wedges and devour each one until the chunk of melon is gone.....The coolness and texture and flavour is out of this world and a few hours later I'm back in the fridge looking for more....Ha. !
My dog eats watermelons. That thing they do growing them without seeds, extra sweet and extra red and smaller, is not good. They are easy to grow. Try to get ' normal' seeds and plant your own

It's been too long since I've had watermelon. I used to buy a quarter, cut up the red part, peel the skin and cut into cubes to use as a vegetable in stir fries.

Probably not. They have numerous and substantial seeds and are almost inedible. There are genetically modified fruits… most Hawaiian papayas for example have been modified to be resistant to the ring spot virus. So while watermelons are not genetically modified maybe you just prefer the deep black seeds nestled in red, or are unsettled by their absence… in that case knock yourself out and buy the seeded ones since they readily available.

I eat it everyday because it helped me getting better sleep time that I had a problem with before incorporating it to my diet. It also enriched mg sex life drastically, eyesight has gotten better, I've also been energetic. Skin has cleared and many more.
@@Isaac5123 it’s definitely watermelon that does it. It happens every time I eat a good amount. It’s more of an ache or soreness than actual pain. It lasts for about 30 to 60 minutes. It’s not bad enough to stop eating it. I like watermelon too much so it’s worth it.
Make sure your watermelon has seeds. My mom can’t eat the seedless ones because it gives her major stomach pain. Something is wrong with the seedless melons.

I eat watermelon not only for sugars or rich in water. Fibers and water in watermelon is a perfect blend. All of crunch you eat in watermelon is actually fibers. The more fibers it gets its more hollow and more water is storaged. So when you knock at it sound hollow to more its ripe. You are knocking more space between fibers. Thats the one you pick. The more its knocking like the wood its less fibers its just packed wiht no space between fibers
