I kinda wonder how much of it you could realistically convert into SRB2. That would be one hell of a project. Myhouse.wad is legendary for its relatively complex programming and sprawling nature. Damn it, now I really, really want someone to make it happen somehow, lol

That'd be a fun challenge but I probably wouldn't be the one to do it since I haven't made an SRB2 map in eons.

@@Wheee7245 No. I have however played 2.2 itself. The biggest reason I have not made maps is because I've been so held up with preparation for mods for another modding community.

does anybody remember that glaber legit ported every map from the past, and yes, including SONICDOOM2 to srb2? yeah, I think glaber would be a real one to port a doom mod to srb2 fr fr.

@@lore644 MyHouse.wad was designed for GZDOOM SRB2 uses Legacy Doom.

@@lore644srb2 is in doom legacy, myhouse is in GZDoom. two separate engines.

Doom Legacy (what SRB2 was originally built off of) =/= GZDoom, despite both being meant to run Doom itself

Any version earlier than 2.2.10 lacks UDMF support entirely (which is the map format used for myhouse) so those older versions would likely just crash trying to load the map due to missing map files UDMF doesn't have

it probably wouldn't, since the map id thingie would be over a doom 2 map, which ultimate doom would be incapable of loading. i wanna say it might just run doom 1 normally
