Delicious recipes. You just made my 24th birthday special. My goal this year is to continue to lose as much weight as I can. I already lost 60lbs. Excited to see what God has in store for you in 2024. Happy New Year. GOD BLESS YOU❤️🎉
You have helped me so much.. I started eating protein for breakfast 🍳 and when I tell you I never ate protein for breakfast I DIDN’T… I was a pancake and waffle girl exclusively… I started following you and I’ve lost 24 pounds… I still got a lot of pounds to go but I’m so motivated🥰… thank you so much 🥰
I honestly found out that if you stop buying the bad things and almost only get healthy stuff that you can make them more fun yourself it almost breaks even.
Hello dear, please boil the potatoes after youve sliced them in a big pot of boiling water for around 5 minutes and when you poke it it will be semi cooked, then drain, oil season and bake high heat for 30-40 minutes. U will end up with life changing potatoes. This applies to yukon/ gold potatoes. You dont have to boil russet potatoes.
Thank you so much! I have been loving these meal prep videos. They are so simple even I can do it lol. I’m not a big cooker. And I get overwhelmed when I see ppl doing recipes with 50 different ingredients. Thank you for your content. Happy new year to you and yours ❤
Liezl, will you PLEASE make a video on fashion and tell us wear to get all of the cute, simple, fitted tops and tank tops you have been wearing in your videos? Please, I need to know wear to get them, they are exactly what I've been looking for to add to my wardrobe!!!! Please!!!!
Love watching your videos. plus it's cool to see someone from school doing so well on RU-vid. Your videos are great and informative. Meals are realistic and simple to prep.
i seriously love your videos! this is the second week in a row that i’m following your recipes and so far i have zero complaints, you make dishes that are so different from the normal protein rice and veggie meals i have frequently and get very bored of ! you’ve also inspired me to do some of my own journaling throughout the process:)
My husband and I made the chicken and potatoes and wow... SO good. He couldn't stop eating the potatoes, and for me, chicken has been so hard to eat (my body hates it right now), but this recipe was divine, so this was SO good and easy. We did frozen broccolis steamed in the microwave instead, since we have a smaller apartment oven. Thank you for these ideas!!
Loving your videos!! Thank you so much for all the meal plans! Keep them coming!! I didn't feel hungry at all they were all delicious, and I lost 3 lbs this week! My kids really wanted waffles, so I used the muffin recipe in the waffle maker. It was SO GOOD!! They loved them!
I cannot tell you how awesome this meal prep is for me!! As a flight attendant it's incredibly hard to eat healthy on the road. It's also super time consuming to meal prep for a 3-4 day trip when you have to lug around tons of food. You've knocked it out of the park with these recipes and their simplicity, healthy macros, tastiness and portability. Thank you so much, Liezl!!😊😊😊
I will try the tahini recipes. That sandwich!!! Wow. I am obsessed with tahini as I try to eat a lot of mediterranean food. Last week I stirred a tablespoon of tahini into a serving of spaghetti sauce and put it on the "noodles" made out of hearts of palm. The best thing I've eaten in ages. So I am searching for tahini recipes. Thanks for the tips.
I just made the tangy tomato chicken and I must say it was delicious!!! I served it with white rice instead of potatoes. Also the green beans turned out amazing!!! Thank you so much liezl for making these videos and making life easier 😊 I appreciate you.
Little tip for when your potatoes have a little bit longer to go but your other pans are big and need space use the floor of the oven as another shelf for anything that is practically done because obviously your losing the all round air flow from the bottom but there is enough to cook things that’s nearly done. That way your other items can take up full space on the upper shelves. 😊
Absolutely my #1 go to person for meal ideas. The food is always so healthy and tastes even better. I made the smoothie bowl with the over night oats on the other side. Sooo good the texture combo is addictive ❤
All of this looks fantastic! I’m happy you have a vegan option too. My youngest is a vegetarian, and I think they will like these recipes. Can’t wait to try! 😊
Would love a high protein low fodmap meal prep video or a high protein dairy free meal prep. Having trouble lately with my health journey since I’ve found out I have so many food sensitivities and I bloat a lot so currently trying to figure out what bloats me and also what causes my eczema flares
Tomato and potato turned out to be causing eczema flairs for one of my family members. The crazy thing is that we did a food sensitivity test with an experienced naturopath who said the tomato and potato weren’t likely to be causing the eczema (apparently they aren’t commonly linked). She still said to cut them out as a possible cause for other symptoms, thank goodness.
@@username00009 I have seen that before. I’m not totally sure what cause mine. I know dairy, gluten, almonds, and peanuts do but I’ve recently discovered I also have GERD so there are also MORE foods I can’t eat lmao
If you have so much trouble with IBS, GERD, allergies, eczema, etc. maybe the keto(vore) or carnivore diet could be helpful to you? There are many people that had a lot of success and betterment of symptoms by leaving nearly all plant-foods out of their diet because most of them can be very inflammatory an they also contain anti-nutrients which some people are highly allergic to. Videos from Dr. Ken Berry, Steak & Butter Gal (Bella), Dr. Anthony Chaffee and many more contain a lot of helpful information about the medical things. Best of luck.❤
Hi Liezl. I’m loving the sauce recipes for the chicken dishes. Even though I don’t eat chicken anymore, I use the soya strips instead, but I love the lemon sauce and the sweet and sour one! Tastes so good!🩷
Wish I can try some of these especially the chicken one but my struggle is it’s hard when your married . We both don’t like the same things. I used to be 220lbs I’m now 165 can seem to shake the last bit that I lost when I got married . I was 150lbs then. Gets harder with age too.
Hey Liezl! I'm just curious -- been watching you since before you moved to LA and noticed your house is different than the LA place(s). Did you move from LA or is this a different home in LA? (Totally understand if you don't want to say - just curious.). Thank you for the amazing meal prep and recipe videos. They are always simple enough for me and filling and delicious! What's not to love?! thanks again. Happy New Year!
I've been watching your videos for years and actually purchased your e book a few years ago. I Can't seem to find the download. I unfortunately need to get back on the program to lose weight. Great job for losing the weight and keeping it off.
Off topic question I have for you Liezl. Have you ever heard of an influencers name Alexa Luria, Alexa Losey, Montana Tucker, Elizabeth Fowler, or Courtney Chipolone?
Girl, if you don't consume dairy, make sure you use good old iodised table salt. Your thyroid will thank you for that. Other than that, amazing content 🤗
I made those cookies! I haven't tried them yet, but my mom did and said they were good ❤🎉 ill try them later :] busy eating breakfast rn I tried them! They were quite good 👍:>
I love your recipe ideas - but just wondering why everything is dairy free? Are you lactose intolerant or do you have dairy issues? Thanks and hugs from Canada 🇨🇦.
Your videos are really helpful but I didn’t see in the prescription the ingredients you use ❤😢 but I love love your video really help full easy yummy thank you
Any alternative for banana. I don’t eat bananas as they trigger my migraines. I struggle with smoothies too. Please help and thank you so much for these meal preps. They are always on repeat. Much love from South Africa Pretoria ❤
Hi Liezl, I think that you are doing a great job with your channel. I am wondering about the protein content in the dinners. I am a vegetarian and the idea of eating half a pack of tofu at one sitting is a bit too much! Any suggestions to up the protein in that meal?
Could you please tell me why you decided to remove dairy from your diet? Thank you! You still eat meat though? Also how tall are you and how much do you weigh? Do you always stick with 1200 calories a day to maintain your weight?
She is probably lactose intolerant. I am so I still eat meat but I don't eat any dairy to avoid lactose, even "lactose free" things can trigger people with lactose intolerance so it's best to avoid all dairy to avoid potential discomfort.
How do I figure out what calories I should start with? Menopause has caused some weight gain that I want to take off. For reference I’m 5’5” and 138 lbs. I want to get down to 120.
People typically find out by looking up “calorie calculator” you put in you weight, age, activity level and it spits out a rough estimate of the amount of calories you should be eating to lose, maintain, or gain weight hope this helps!
This is amazing! And how do you get the recepies? Did you find it out by yourself? And can i make a protein shake as snack or is it too much calories for a normal day? Thanks 🙏🏼
I just like to make recipes, and I let a lot of food that I’ve tried inspire me in the kitchen. I like to experiment in the kitchen that’s my favorite thing about cooking. .. and yes you can have a protein shake they are not usually very high in calories. You can use it to replace a snack - a lot of protein shakes are about 120 cal (check your one) .. you could add an apple or banana to complete the snack and make it a bit more filling
What kind of pans do you use, are they nonstick? I like to keep my calories down by using very little oil in cooking but with my stainless steel pans, they are impossible to clean without using more oil. But now I'm reading tons of scary stuff about nonstick, and even the supposedly safer ceramic coated ones. What do you use?
These look amazing Liezl can you please share the brands of vegan butter and feta you use? I eat a lot of dairy and I feel like it's keeping weight on. If you could share much appreciated.
When you meal prep do you put them in the freezer or do you them every night of the same week. If you have freezed some how did they hold up being reheated? I got glass meal prep containers for Christmas so I want to make a variety of your reciped to freeze
The links on your blog/website don’t seem to be working right now. I hope they will be working again soon bc I’d like to purchase your ebook on meal prep. Thanks
