It’s the off season for me at the moment, that typically means certain shifts in macronutrient balance and timing, but that absolutely does not mean it’s time to eat all the pies (and sugar).
Although what I eat is a little more relaxed at the moment, the general themes and key points still apply.
Here’s an example of what my typical diet looks like for me in November.

i hope this is not too personal but just out of curiosity how much do you weigh and do you do any other type of exercising(lifting, yoga, running) in combination with cycling? thanks!

Putter Stewart I weigh 80KG currently, I generally go up to around 84k over winter when I prioritise gym work. Aside from cycling, I lift a minimum of 2 times a week, but this goes to 4 x in winter. I run occasionally, more in winter, and perform a short Yoga / stretching routine every morning (see latest video)..

Can I ask why you use vegan protein if you're not a vegan?

Good question Richard! Whey protein also works a treat in porridge, and I do like to mix it about from time to time. 3 reasons for me personally: a.) I find that consuming whey / dairy protein in the morning makes me feel a little flat and lethargic. b.) I was initially planning on having a serving of whey protein later that day (which I didn't have in the end). And I don't like to have two servings of whey protein in the day, it's not the best for my gut in those quantities and I like to mix it about. c.) I like the texture & taste of it in my porridge.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but you're not 6-7% bf, not even close. You look more like 11-12%. Grand Tour winners dip down to 6-7%. Bodybuilders 4-5%.
