My grandma made these for me all the time lol. She called them “eggs in a nest” They were delicious! I sure do miss her. Great video & I subscribed.

I have always called these egg in a basket, it’s so funny everyone has a different name for these. My kids love these and I love those Sara Lee breads.

We called them egg in a boat and have not eaten them in years I use Everything but the Bagel Seasoning on mine and also add spray butter on the bread also before adding to pan.

Your eggs in a frame are also good if you use a knife and cut a square out of the center and mix up your eggs along with a bit of onion, peppers and bacon bits ( or what ever you would put in an omelet). Before the eggs set completely, carefully put your square back in and flip when ready.

Haven't watched in a couple wks. Had a knee replacement, ouch. So I'm kinda slow and easily distracted. Italian sweet cream is the bomb!!I use it in my tea. My first meal is usually around 11, snack around 3 dinner at 6ish

I love your videos! I just rejoined WW this year and so happy I did. I also do IF and dont eat until around lunch. Today I made a dairy free tomato soup (3 pts) with half a grilled cheese (6pts). Dinner was 6pts with a bonless 6oz grilled pork chop using G Hughes sugar free BBQ sauce. And asparagus spears with some parmesan. Dinner was 8 pts. After doing a 16 hour fast I always get a higher protein lunch in. Usually eggs. Oh, and thanks for that banana tip. I freeze mine with the skins on and should take the skins off first. I use the WW protein mix usually. But thanks again for your videos

We do eggs in a frame but in my family they are called toad in a hole (not sure why). I've also heard them call chick in a nest and Bird in a basket. We cook the eggs a little less and put syrup on it. Sooooo good!

@@AliciaLynnYT yes, of course the toast and eggs were fried in bacon grease.😂. So much better flavor. This was a favorite dinner when my dad worked late. There were 5 of us and we were all thin. ( I’m 72)

I go to WW meetings but I don’t count points. I use macros and calories. I try to hit my protein and fiber goal. BTW, according to my dietician, protein is to maintain/grow muscles. You should up your carbs if you do a lot of cardio. I’m older and I do weight training so I work (hard) to get over 100 grams of protein a day but I do eat carbs. I think most of the research now says that you don’t really lose more weight if you eliminate carbs ( unless we are talking sugary and processed carbs) I eat brown rice, whole grain bread and pasta and still lose weight. My hard to control macro is fat.

Did you have cheat days when you were trying to lose weight. What helped you the most to be so successful sticking with WW for 3 yrs. I think I remembered you saying y’all had been following WW for 3 yrs. I have been on WW off and on for many yrs. I always lose but cannot stick to it! Thanks for your videos they are very motivating and have great recipes!

Hi Susan, when I was trying to lose weight I would still have one cheat meal a week. Yes, we are currently on 3 years of doing WW consistently. We have done it on and off since 2010 though. I had several times where I didn't stick to it either, so you are not alone in that! For me, I honestly think it's the cheat meal or day that has helped me the most in being successful long term. I don't do well with super restrictive when it comes to food and having that cheat meal helps me feel like I can still eat the "naughty" foods, occasionally. Actually, that is what I really love about WW in general. It isn't restrictive in what you can eat, just the amount. Cheat meals don't work for everyone though, for example, my husband can't do cheat meals/days because they set him off. I hope you find what works for you, you can do it!

Technically, you are supposed to count fruit in smoothies, but I never do. That is one WW rule I have always found silly. I think the reason for it is they figure you eat a lot more fruit and therefore calories, if it is in a smoothie, than you would just eating fruit. I don't use an amount larger in my smoothies than what I would eat anyway. So for example, if I didn't put that banana in my smoothie, I would have still had the protein shake and banana as my snack. Hope that makes sense!
