After researching, I actually started making a pot of tea with ginger, turmeric, cayenne, cinnamon, parsley, dandelion, cilantro and lime for breakfast last August and it has taken away my Fibroids and Endometriosis pain. Glad you're starting your morning with the water, cayenne, ginger, turmeric and lemon, it's been a life saver!! Thanks for the vid!!

Looks awesome and I like the videos. I was on raw vegan for 6 months but could not stick to it for long. I am half vegan/vegetarian depends on mood but I like thinks which are not too dry and I am not sure that I could eat the broccoli salad like that. I had something like that in institute Hippocrates on Florida and it did not do it for me. But maybe with the salsa, I might try it to see. Sadly personally don´t like sweet potatoes.. I am terribly picky.... which makes it harder to eat more of the stuff. But thanks anyway

In Canada where I live technically they are huge and inside they are a pale yellow. Yams are the “sweet potato” orange colour I see everywhere online. So are yams the same as sweet potatoes? I have oatmeal another chance because you and your mom eat it a lot. I usually am starving after I eat it. But, i added some hemp seeds and hopefully that helps. I would be starving if that's all I had for lunch though. I need like a big salad or something along with that.

Hello :) I have a question about lemon water; I'm already plant based whole foods, but I have IBS (this lifestyle has helped so much!) however lemon water always hurts my stomach and causes cramping... why is this?
I love the recipes, but this is very pre filmed. What about when you're on the go? When you have a job? School? Irregular schedules? This lifestyle seems like you need to constantly be watching and thinking about what you need to eat, and as a college student who wants to go vegan (or at least plant based) I would love to see more realistic videos!
I can never understand how Americans eat oatmeal just boiled with water, it's so bland :D Cook it with oat or almond milk, add cinnamon, raisins or dates, some type of seed or nut and it's delicious! Have you ever tried it like that? :)
I absolutely love Chicken Lo Mien. Problem is the OYSTER SAUCE. I LOOOVE Oyster Sauce. Now that I am vegan I am not sure how to MATCH the flavor. Please help!!!
great video, your food looks super tasty. However I think you need to eat more protein because your meals have very little protein :) legumes are great sources of protein 😉😉
dykim90 I used cronometer to see if it was enough and well...it was not enough! it is such a pity since she has good recipes and a lovely attitude, but she also needs to be a good example and show how to meet all the nutrient requirements of an average woman.
Barbara Taras everyone has different caloric needs. She eats what feels good for her and that's all that matters. As long as she is getting good nutrients and is not starving herself
It´s really important to nourish our bodies by eating healthy; however, even if you eat the cleanest food but not the right portions (acording to our needs) our bodies will not function properly. I tell this by experience, I tried her diet and portions (consider I'm a small woman) and lost too much weight that I ended up losing my period and suffering from another illness related to the lost weight, please don´t misunderstand me, I don´t wanna be a hater but I think It´s important that we consult our PCPs or a dietitian before we star a new diet. PD: excuse grammar mistakes, english is not my first language.
Hello!! Actually I do get enough calories :D The calories a person needs depends on a few factors: height, weight, goals (you want to lose or gain weight) and activity level. I am 5'2" and weight 108 pounds. On this particular day I wasn't very active. When I am active I eat a bit over 2,000 calories. Here's a detailed number of the calories I consumed on this particular day: BREAKFAST: 3/4 cup raw oats: 225 cal 1 Mango: 107 cal 4 cups strawberries in half: 195 cal Coconut sugar: 36 cal TOTAL: 563 cal LUNCH: 1 large sweet potato: 163 cal 1 cup chickpeas: 200 cal 1/2 Avocado: 117 cal TOTAL: 480 cal DINNER: 1 bag of organic baby carrots: 350 cal 4 cups of broccoli: 124 cal 1/2 Avocado: 117 cal 6 cups mixed greens: 60 cal TOTAL: 651 cal GRAND TOTAL: 1,694 Cal
