I love this video! It’s so refreshing to see someone who has lost a lot of weight and is so NORMAL about food! Can’t wait to see move out videos and your new place.
i love how she normalises losing weight but including all foods in her diet, and fitting in her cravings, thats what so many people get wrong. all foods fit in moderation
Yet to watch the entire vid (currently listening along as I work) but just wanted to say what a great disclaimer at the beginning. I think it can sometimes get lost how individualised health, nutrition and weight loss is. Really sensible and healthy approach
Thank you so much for being so honest about weight and the foods you eat, I feel like social media can make everyone feel so rubbish about themselves sometimes and this really helps
I love bran flakes too I feel so old when I eat that for breakfast 😂 fiber one bars are such a good sweet treat. My favorite snack at the moment is some plain Greek yogurt mixed with honey cinnamon peanut butter and then I dip rice cakes in the dip...so good! I love the mindset you have about weight loss/maintaining. This year I lost about 90 lbs and I started to develop food rules and depriving myself, but this holiday season I let myself have treats and honestly the amount of weight I gained was so small that I basically proved to myself that my appetite did regulate itself to make up for all the extra calories I ate the last few weeks. Love the uploads lovely and thank you for keeping all us smiling during this really sucky time. Have a great week 😘
Hahah omg so do I!!!! Its reminds me of older people 😂 Ohhh that sounds good!!! Minus the honey for me, im not the biggest fan!! Yes definitely 🙌🏻 its important to recognise before you start to build a bad relationship with food! Thank you as always lovely!! I hope you have a great week too!!! 💗💗💗
What a brilliant video! I have lost a lot of weight in the summer. Have been struggling with healthy eating due to stress and anxiety because of lockdown. Doesn't help when you are stuck working from home everyday and you eat out of boredom as well. Wish I had your willpower!
Hannah I just wanna say thank you... like honestly from the bottom of my heart, thank you, I remember watching your first 10k calorie challenge video last year, I was in love with your style haha and I’ve never stopped watching you since (that sounds so creepy but you know what I mean 🤣) anyways last year when I started watching you , your words and attitude towards food honestly stuck with me sm, I remember all the times you commented back to me and tried one of my recommendations, and it REALLY helped me get out of a bad place, you inspired me in august after months of watching , to talk with my parents about my problems with food. The next day I was admitted to hospital and told I was so close to death, I firmly believe if I hadn’t done that I wouldn’t be here... so thank you so much 😊 also with the therapy I’ve recieved I’ve Learnt that I’m neuro-diverse , which has caused me so many arguments, problems and unexplainable things that really upset me and got me into so much trouble throughout my childhood and life! And again if you hadn’t inspired me to talk about my problems I would’ve never found that out 💕🥰 you’ve honestly helped so many people and you should just know that you’re amazing and I can never repay you, you’ve literally changed my life 🥺 right I’ll stop waffling me being soppy now but I hope you have an amazing 2021, you’re going to achieve so much 🥰👏
Wow, this video is exactly what I needed to see. I've been really struggling with restricting myself after losing 6.5 stone and I've made myself so scared of food. Honestly Hannah thank you for this, you've helped more than you would know
Loved this video, you explained everything so well and this has given me some ideas on meals to have myself! Congrats on 19.1K lovely! You’ll soon hit 20k!!✨💕
Totally agree that the key to diet success is still eating foods you find satisfying. I know if I don’t I’ll end up going back to the kitchen cupboards. It was great to see a video about weight loss which was not full of time-consuming recipes but instead focussed on tasty quick and easy lunches/dinners x
Great video promoting balance when attempting to lose fat. One thing I would add is just about the skipping breakfast part. There is no benefit to having or not having breakfast in terms of losing weight, all comes down to your total energy consumption versus expenditure, so don't worry if you prefer to eat it or not. Just do what helps you personally meet your calorie deficit.
This is a brilliant video, such a fresh view on somebody who has lost weight but doesn’t just live on salad and fresh air. I’ve started a fresh view on my dieting this year that you can eat what you enjoy and still lose the weight. Keep up the great videos 🙂
Such a great video! Hearing you talk about maintenance and gaining a little bit of weight after finishing a long period where you are trying to lose weight really hit home. I lost 2,5 stone over about to years and when I started being a bit more chill I gained a couple of pounds and it really freaked me out but since that initial weight gain I feel like my weight has now balanced out at a little bit of a higher number but I can just happily live my life and don't have to worry about what I eat that much. I thought I was the only one and felt a bit like a failure but it's great to know that this seems to be normal!
Omg u cracked me up when u cooked the chicken because I literally over cook the hell out of it . Then spend half an hour dissecting it and even then when I put it in my mouth I think “ omg is it pink “ made me literally think of me . Loving how u eat salads to make more calories for chocolate .. literally me again !!! Keep being amazing and keep helping us all through lockdown by being just you ... that’s all we need right now ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Nice to see someone else who loves bran flakes🤣 idk what it is about them but I love them, and bran sticks! But I just wanna say to anyone whose looking to count calories, please don’t use MyFitnessPal as a guide as it’s extremely inaccurate, and the majority of the time it greatly underestimates how much food you need! I followed what it told me for months and I was so unhealthy! A more accurate way to work out what you need would be to calculate your bmr and your tdee (lots of calculators online) because this factors in a lot more information than MyFitnessPal does, so it’s more tailored to you. I still use MyFitnessPal to track my macros tho, it’s definitely good for that!💞
@@HannahMarling yeah if it works for you that’s great, I just don’t recommend it to anyone due to how inaccurate it is, it can be so dangerous! I developed an eating disorder after believing what it told me and became so ill and weak. So I just don’t want anyone to go thru the same as me! Because I know a lot of others have already!
So lovely to see a realistic video including emotions and also what you eat. Nothing fancy, just normal food, easy to prepare and not made to look 'insta-worthy' Love how you know what you want and allow yourself to have the sweet treats along with the healthier salads and quorn /falafel/breaded fish etc.... Great to see someone recognise and respond to their cravings. Loved your motivational speech, bless you xx Also love how you show how you manage to fit food in around a busy work day. Glad the ice cream ball was better this time!!! Bless you.... The raw chicken fear 😱🍗 Don't apologise for feeling a bit pants.. We all do, but keep going hun. Lots of love xxx
Thank you 💗💗 Of course, I always find time to eat! haha!! Yess and I tried the coconut flavour tonight and I really liked it!! The chicken fear is very real haha!! Thank you lovely, have a good week! xxxx
Hii, I never comment, but I wanted to tell you that I have followed you since the 10000calorie challenge and I still love to watch your videos! Thanks for all the amazing content girl!
Hey girl, Love how you always save a bit for dessert...yasss! Life is too short to not have dessert 🥰 Loved the little chat in the middle. Like you said it’s all about balance and what works for our bodies. Yes I could eat like you for 5 days a week and then have 2 days off...thing is everyone’s 2 days off are different. I could say right Hannah said you can have 2 days off, then smash 20k calories 😂🙃, you know? Love Eleanor Neale for true crime! Please keep spreading your cheer and positivity girl 🥰 xx
Hey angel, Dessert makes me happy so always have to make room for it!! haha! Well you guys see how I eat on my days off, wouldn't want to know how many calories I have on them haha!! Eleanor is great!! 😍 Thank you Amanda!! 💗xxx
Absolutely love your videos Hannah! Always look forward to when you upload. Great to see your balanced approach to eating & life in general. Take care hun xxx 💕👋
I absolutely loved this video, i have struggled all my life with my weight. Since last march i have dropped 1-2 dress sizes just by weighing out my snacks/food and picking healthier versions of various food. It will be a slow process for me, but im happy with the slow process. The way i am doing it if i want/crave something i have it but a smaller version as if i dont have it that is when i go back. Thank you for this video you look absolutely amazing and seeing you enjoy what you want aswell. Also let those tears out, this lockdown is hitting me differently too 🥰🥰
Well done for a great video and being so clear and real about weight loss. I have three teenage girls and I’m fed up of famous people parading about in bikinis after eating a bowl of air. It is such a bad and unrealistic role model for teenage girls to see. You can lose weight and enjoy a bit of chocolate 👍🏼 Thank you for keeping it real!
This is the first year where I have gained weight and I’m not mad at myself because I look back on how much food I enjoyed and now I’m going to eat healthier but also treat myself at the weekends if I want to🥰
Wow I love this. So many things I need to try! I’ve never really wanted to buy from M&S, Waitrose etc because it is quite expensive but actually I realise for some things it’s worth it like your salad and the ready meals. If you’re dieting and stuck with crap food in the house you’re far more likely to cave. Eating quality food is worth the money!! 💟
Loved this video, thanks for always being so real and i thought you talked about weight and everything related to it in such a positive way in this vid!!❤️❤️❤️
Love your videos! I’ve been subscribed since your first ever video! I’m the worst person for interacting on videos but I’ll try my best from now! I sit watching ur vids as soon as they come out, always makes me so hungry tho 🤣
Awesome to see the variety of things you eat, not stuff people would expect someone who is losing weight to eat. It just shows balance and a healthy relationship with food. Thank you Hannah. What exercise did you do on this week?
I'm only 4 mins into the video... but I'm loving it so far!! I've never seen those vegan bubble and squeak bites before 👀 I'll have to give them a go!!xx
I also live on M&S balanced for you/Eat well when trying to watch what I eat and I had that red wine beef yesterday and agree it's not the one 😂 Love your videos, I feel like I am watching myself half the time. Keep em coming! x
great video as always!! you have such a positive vibe and love how natural and down to earth you are. PS: i HATE aero bars haha i feel like eating bubbles, basically nothing, so funny you love them :))
This video was amazing and all your food looks so colourful and nutritious. You have definitely motivated me to start eating more healthier. Love you xx 😊❤️
This video was so helpful! Back on the diet train like everyone else in Jan and feel like my eating habits are pretty similar to yours 👌🏼 totally agree with prioritising calories for snacks and sweet treats and I’m also not that bothered about meat 🤪 x
loved this video so helpful! I don’t know if you’ve done it already but could you maybe make on with your fave cheeky low-calorie snacks? Would be so useful thanks :)
Do you weigh out your cereal and milk? For breakfast recently I’ve been having weetabix and yogurt with fruit,it’s amazing and I definitely recommend to try!! I love how you actually enjoy the food you eat while dieting, and that you don’t restrict yourself of certain foods!do you have dressing with your salads,if so what.Fab video as always hannah!!!
I always way my cereal but I don't weigh my milk cos its red milk and so low but I do estimate how much I use!! Ohh sounds nice!! Yesss, its so important to enjoy what you are eating!! I only have mayo with my salad because that's all I really enjoy! Some times I add so mango chutney to my salad haha! Strange combo but tastes amazing! Thank you Dani 💗
Hi! What’s your favourite M&S ready meals? And how long did it take to start realising differences from calorie counting? I’ve just started counting calories x
Heyyy - Hmmm the chicken chow mien one is my fave and the spinach and ricotta cannelloni! Hmm I don't remember now but in my weight loss video I spoke about how long is took me to lose each stone!! Good luck :) x
Hey! I loved this video, its really what I needed right now. Question. How do you stop yourself eating chocolate and crisp? Because when i get hungry ill go grab some crisp or some chocolate instead of fruit or something healthier. And how do you keep yourself motivated? Ill start off really good and then ill give up after 2 weeks
Hey - I don't stop myself! I just eat in in moderation which stops me from craving it less and more likely to want to eat other things such as fruit! I guess your motivation would be a reflection on how much you want something/believe you can achieve it!! Believe in yourself :)💗
Heyy, I would love to give you some advice! The best way to lose weight is to fasten up your metabolism. So how you fasten up your metabolism is by eating 3 meals and 3 snacks a day. If you eat nothing between lunch and dinner, your metabolism takes a break. It will need to start up again when your eating dinner, that way it will take your body longer to process the food. It is important to keep your metabolism going during the day. That way it will go faster. I hope you will read this! Weight loss isn’t eating less, it is eating balanced and the right amounts of foods for your body! Daily treats are also important like chocolate, crisps, mac donalds etc to keep you from binging it all once a week in one sitting, but as I saw your video I think you are doing that right!💖 Also this is one of the most effective ways to lose weight!
you don’t have the answer this, of course, but how long did it take you to lose 4 stone? i’m on a very similar journey. within the last week i managed to drop 4 pounds, already, which is impressive for me since my hormones and body don’t usually allow for the quickest weight loss. i’m hoping by summer i can have shedded at least 3 stone. out of curiosity, did you ever drink cucumber water / lemon water to help aid your weight loss? did you ever try apple cider vinegar? i also want to point out i love how your diet isn’t always fruit vegetables and salad. you make it realistic and easy to follow. especially for someone who has a sweet tooth. i’m very much the same and can’t go an entire week without at least snaking on something chocolatey or some form of jelly 😂 i found waiting until the weekend to eat something like this helped me to drop weight too. i was fearful it would have sent me into maintaining my weight rather than dropping. but i suppose since i didn’t do full out “cheat days” with endless calories and still kept it minimal, i was able to do this. it also stopped me from wanting to pig out and feeling deprived. your food is very similar to what i would eat too. the salads in particular. i think i’ll be trying the quorn escalopes soon! look delicious.
I have a video where I talk all about the amount of time it took me to lose the weigh ect! No I never used any of those things to ever help aid weight loss. Chocolate snacks are always important haha!! Yes defo, when you eat semi normal you feel less restrictive which will stop you from wanting to eat everything cos you feel like you cannot have it! Yes defo give them a try :)
@@HannahMarling You can get the big bag in my local tescos! Or I prefer the smaller bags for calorie counted snacks so I get them from Holland & Barratt the only thing I go in there for 😂😂 x
I completely love you, your so normal and dont hide anything...love the food ideas and especially the aero after your veggie meal..LOL ..I love vegan, veggie but my partner is old school and has to eat meat, such a cannibal...may do a cheeky swap and see if he notices....keep vlogging your brilliant xx
Hi Hannah, your video was very interesting, I'm going to try to do the salads with the breaded items, my problems are: 1. I love chips and pasta too much! 2. I'm not getting any exercise or the motivation to do any... I know, I need to somehow step up my game x
Sorry to jump on the reply but I think what hannah said in her video about eating what you want on the weekend may help. I also love chops and pasta but dont get them in the week! Keep them for the weekend like 5 days on diet 2 days off may help xx
Oh han hated seeing you upset your only human I l9ve any of your videos of course lockdown has affected you xx and don't pressure yourself you don't have to be all sing and dancing your true followers won't care x and you look stunning you don't need to loose but you do you hun
I’m the same. I have the salad boxes and roasted veggie box from Tesco all the time haha with breaded goodies like you! And then chocolate. Cannot go without it for longer than half a day. Hahaha very similar diet babe.
❤️ LOVE how cute you’re being and how sensitive to people who are terrified of gaining weight. As you know I’m still in recovery but you’re fricking amazing xxxx
I don't eat many carbs either in the week so I can use my calories for snacks and chocolate too 😂 so agree to having the weekend off but I also need to lose my xmas weight and have eaten (and drunk lol) too much this weekend 😆 any tips for sticking with over weekends? Love your videos as always 💓
Yeah I defo have those extra Xmas pounds - getting them off is currently pending haha!! I would say increase your calories for 200/300 at the weekend - your body wont notice that but you will notice the extra treats you can fit it and will feel like you have had some kind of cheat!! 💗
If you’re enjoying true crime videos, I’d recommend Stephanie Harlow. She does really in depth videos! But for shorter ones, Kendall Rae is also great!
