Unfortunate to find such misinformation. When you make these videos, you have a responsibility to be accurate.

Here you go! CHOCOLATE CHIP, BANANA, PEANUT BUTTER MUFFINS 1 1/2 cup unbleached flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt or skip all of the above and use King Arthur Baking Company GF muffin mix for convenience then follow the instructions on that box. 1/4 cup butter - melted 1/4 cup sugar 1/4 cup brown sugar or coconut sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/2 cup peanut butter 2 well-ripened bananas 1 egg 1/4 cup organic whole milk _____________________________________________________________ Pre-heat over to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Combine ingredients in a stand mixer *OR* Combine flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda in a small bowl and set aside. Mix remaining ingredients (except chocolate chips) in a large bowl. Slowly stir dry ingredients into wet ingredients. Add chocolate chips. Coat a standard muffin pan with nonstick spray or butter and flour. Scoop muffin batter, dividing evenly among cups. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean. Enjoy!

Eating 20 parts per milion of gluten is not harmful, which is why gluten free foods need to be LESS than that concentration. Eating about 10 milligrams of gluten is what’s considered harmful and you would have to eat a LOT of gluten free food for that to happen. It’s studied that even eating gluten free food all day people don’t go over about 5 milligrams. So no it’s not dangerous to eat gluten free food.

Hello from Australia, I been watching your channel for a while and started watching as I was looking up kids with celiac, as my youngest was diagnosed in 2019! She is 13 know and its so nice to watch a family who gets what gluten free means. In Australia it has to be 0 parts per million, so no detectable gluten. We a gluten free house as I can't eat gluten either, but yes it can get expensive. God bless you all

Just wanted your opinion I also have celiac disease just like your kids, but have always wondered if airborne gluten flour should be something I should be concerned about. Airborne gluten is something that is not talked about enough. I have read that flour can stay airborne for 24 hours and that a celiac could breathe in the airborne gluten particles, and that the airborne gluten could somehow get into there digestive track through mucous membranes, giving the celiac person symptoms. No doctor has told me it’s not possible to happen, but they also avoid the question on account that they don’t know how to answer my question, they respond to me saying not enough information yet to 100% say yes but limited information suggests that it’s possible. I’m aware that simply touching gluten foods are not a problem, unless I forget to wash my hands for some reason and put them in my mouth. What is your opinion about airborne gluten flour?

Thanks Danielle! Would love more videos like this. Are you still veggie (I remember you were years ago)? I've been veggie for 20 years but have a gluten free, dairy free, soya free child and am finding cooking so many separate meals difficult and am trying to re-introduce meat into my own diet to try and simplify matters but am really not enjoying it.

Appreciate your show but to be honest with you the kids are going to get bored of eating the same stuff over and over again even though you mix it up to a kid it’s the same stuff all over and over it’s difficult I try to do what I can for my granddaughter and it’s hard cooking her and making her stuff cause after a while it gets old and I understand it so we’re kind of stuck

I don’t normally comment but I just wanted to say, thank you so much for all that you share about CD. ❤️ Your channel has been a God send! I have been following for about a year and your channel made me feel less alone and gave me hope that if you could do it with all of your family, I could do it myself. 🥰 The fact that you all live a healthy GF diet was so helpful as there is barely any content on RU-vid that shows a balanced diet vs. a plug and play of processed alternatives. I cannot thank you enough. 🙌

Thank you thank you thank you! Recently diagnosed celiac and I did not consider the added effect of processed gluten free food. Completely explains why I start feeling crummy when I'm in a rut and grab the processed stuff more often. And love the ideas!!

This is such great advice! Same goes for organic. People get o na bandwagon to eat “organic” and then complain it is so expensive to do. But if you’re getting certified organic packaged foods, that’s a ridiculous cost, and often the items have unnecessary filler ingredients in them anyway. Also often smaller sizes compared of the conventional option. If you replace packaged foods with whole foods, it is cheaper and healthier.

I greatly appreciate the information about swapping gluten free for whole foods. I found out about a year and a half ago that I am borderline celiac, along with being allergic to several other staples as well unfortunately. I didn't know that there was still gluten in gluten free food, makes sense why it still makes me sick. I love the idea of using sweet potatoes for bread, especially since I am allergic to rice and potatoes as well. Thank you for sharing your wisdom! It was super helpful!
