In this video I'll be going over my experience with Minoxidil and the pros and cons that come with using it to fill in a beard! Btw no worries my beard is just as full as ever!
In this video I said my beard was not as bad as it used to be, I meant to say it's much better than it used to be.

Using Castor oil and Peppermint oil (3-4%) and hope for some results. I have been using it only 3 weeks so far and don’t see a change. Using it on beard and eyebrows. How long did it take for you to see results with minox? And what percentage you were using?

I THINK what he means is that your hair will appear thinner because it will get thicker with min but then revert back to when you werent using min, therefore look thinner. If you already have thick hair from the getgo, i think your good.

My hair never got back to the way it was, but I should have just kept using minoxidil or found something more natural and comparable to it like peppermint oil or something.

@@slippy720 have you tried using Jamaican black castor oil on your scalp, I use it on my face after I’m done using minoxidil for the day. I put it at night, I don’t get acne and it’s very thick oil

Your beard will definitely be thicker than before you used minoxidil, but when you stop it will shed a little bit.

Did your scalp hair shed or did the actual hair follicles become thin… I’ve seen videos that say shedding is completely normal side effect and it isn’t permanent

the videos I've watched about people saying this works, it's been people that have never really let their beard grow for more than 2 months. Then they start using Minoxidil and let it grow for a year. Well, they don't really know if it was the Minoxidil or the fact that they didn't shave for a year. Now on the other hand, the others I've watched who have actually done it both ways, letting the beard grow for at least 6 months with and without Minox have noticed there is no difference.

There's a ton of people who have really good results. I couldn't grow out my beard because I had big areas that didn't fill in but after using it the gaps filled in and I can grow it out now. You should watch more videos on it. A guy named who has a youtube channel named "Adam siddals" and he has a video called "33 people who grew beards using minoxidil" and it's very clear that it's was more than just growing out their facial hair.

well i couldnt grow 1 single hair on my cheeks and i`m 42 .. used minoxidil and after 1 week .. i had peach fuss all over .. now at month 7 they are all turning darker and darker.. so ill hopefully have a nice beard with a high cheek line when they all turn.

Yeah just from what you said and the comments, this shit is NOT worth it. That should be the first thing the people that make this videos should say. I know you’re already deep, and at this point you gotta be happy. But please save other people from altering their life completely over a fucking beard.

Great video man, I'm with you I also definitely wish I would have heard of minoxidil sooner. I spent 4 months trying to grow my beard prior without it. I'm glad I'm finally using it, and getting good results.

Yeah that is a struggle! I think for people who get bad acne with minoxidil they need to definitely wash it off their face and moisturize with something that's not too oily, but it's hard to know how the skin will react.

Bro I'm using minoxidil from past 8 months and got a Beard which is not terminal yet ..some hairs are still vellus while some are transistional ...my dad has a full thick beard ...but my paternal and maternal grandfather has only goatee and moustache and not a full beard ...now if I stopped using minoxidil after 2 years ..will my beard stay for lifetime or I will loose my gains ????? Mine isn't as thick as it was while I was using minoxidil but it is definitely thicker than it was before I used minoxidil.

Say I only use minoxidil for 6 months then stop, would I be able to grow hair the same as if I didn’t use minoxidil at all? Just wondering because I know I’ll be able to grow one later on but I want to speed it up, im just worried that if something goes wrong and I stop taking it my soon to come gains will be altered somehow by the chemicals and then I wont be able to grow one.

I know I have seen new hairs come in since I've stopped using minoxidil, but since I'm a little older it's hard to say. I would ask a guy who used it when they were 20 years old and stopped a few years ago and see if his beard has improved since.

Skin aging is a side effect of minoxidil

I think that’s likely a side effect of the alcohol that the liquid version is based in (propylene glycol). The foam doesn’t contain that, so I think that prevents any unnecessary aging from occurring. No side effects from what I can tell so far using it myself.

@@MindDrip Yes, I actually stopped after about a month. I began to worry about the premature aging myself and decided the tradeoff wasn't worth it lol. What little side effects I began to notice seemed to subside very quickly after discontinuing use, however, I only used it for a short period of time. So, perhaps prolonged use would warrant a prolonged period of recovery.

Minoxidil can cause impotence (your manhood won't get hard) that's a rare side effect. Not worth it.

Thanks! I used it for 2 years and it's been 1 1/2 years since I stopped. My beard is good but my head hair is a little thinner than it was.

@@Ladosligese my starting point I had a decent amount of facial hair. It mainly helped me fill in the areas on the right and left of my chin and just generally made it thicker. I wasn't able to grow out my facial hair before because it just wasn't thick enough.

@@slippy720 peace, bro. I just completed 18 months and I don't have any Minoxidil left. I could buy more, but here in South Africa, it's not ubiquitous like in the States. Hopefully, my beard is now terminal. I'll comment again after a year to tell you.

Yeah your head will experience some shedding. Minoxidil goes throughout your body.

Yes it was my head hair. My hair shedded a lot after I stopped using it. It did recover a little but definitely not back to normal.

1. You should wait like 4 hours to put on a moisturizer after using minoxidil. 2. It said online to wait like 1 hour before exercising and sweating.
