In today's #zelda #bosses #versus video we are going to look at the origin, secrets, timeline, story, lore, mysteries and history of #thelegendofzelda franchise made by Nintendo. Throughout the years there have a lot of things like certain enemies, bosses places, characters, quests, items and more in games like the legend of zelda ocarina of time, the legend of zelda breath of the wild, the legend of zelda majora's mask, the legend of zelda twilight princess, the legend of zelda the wind waker, the legend of zelda skyward sword, the legend of zelda a link to the past, the legend of zelda a link between worlds and a lot more. Link defeats ganondorf and saves the triforce from evil with the master sword time and time again, while going through the land. They released these games on consoles like the wii, wii u, nintendo switch, gamecube, n64 and a lot more. So let’s find out who would win if #ganondorf and majora's mask would fight each other in an epic battle to the end.

I think you really devalued their abilities. Majora has the power to pull the moon out of the sky, turn Link into a whole different creature, cause the moon to drop a tear, make the ocean cloud over, freeze the entire mountains, and resurrect the undead. Ganon has the power to spawn mobs of enemies, darken the sky, create phantoms of himself, and take over the minds and possess people. While Ganon's are great, Majora's are absurdly over the top. Granted it may be that Ganon wants to rule the land while Majora wants it to just burn but still.

In term of power i woud say Majoras but in battle Ganondorf Majoras is kinda like a parasite he grant god like power to its wearer but feed on its wearer emotion Majoras by itself ave created the world of termina and all " according to hyrule historia " but if Majoras fight by itselft he become even more chaotic and uncontrolable ... Ganondorf can only be killed by the master sword and the light/silver arrow wile Majoras can be killed by anything but here the thing ... Ganondorf power come from his triforce piece witheout his triforce piece he his only a mortal that why i say Majoras is the strongest but only if we compare their power if Majoras woud ave find a host more powerfull and not as emotionally weak as the skull kid he/she coud easely defeat Ganondorf Majoras as god like power but work as a parasite giving its power to his host

Luthia Moonlight FRQC That’s true, and also Ganon is basically Demise reincarnated. Majora wins if Ganondorf doesn’t have triforce. With it though, Ganon wins. There’s nothing Majora could honestly do to Ganon. Like you said, only the Master Sword can kill it. Although Ganon never really dies. He’s just sealed away.

The thing I want to see most in a Zelda game is Ganondorf stealing artifacts to enhance his power and then taking majoras mask, putting it on and then almost right away losing to its power becoming a puppet. Making Majora the antagonist for the rest of the game.

Implying that Majora's Mask could possess Ganondorf, who holds a piece of the triforce in most games, and actually had the full triforce on at least one occasion that I know of, if not two.

@@shawnwolf5961 Yeah If it even happened it might have to be a Ganondorf with no triforce at all. (Like how link has no triforce of courage in windwaker until he collects the shards.) But no matter the circumstances it would be awesome. (I just realized it would be even cooler if Ganondorf had full triforce because it would show you just how much of a threat majora is - in this hypothetical game.)

Majora just wants to destroy the world while Ganon wants to rule it. That automatically makes Majora a bigger threat. Ganon is probably way stronger though.

@@schildiish Ganon being beat by the most powerful Link doesn't take away from him being more powerful than Majora's mask. As far as we know Majora's mask wasn't stated to have omnipotent power or even close to that kind of power. Soul manipulation isn't even near omnipotence. Oh and ganondorf didn't necessarily have possession of the full triforce in the same way Ganon did.

Well it was remade in Majora’s Mask 3D, had a cameo in Link Between Worlds, appears in Hyrule Warriors and in Smash 4 and its moon is in Smash Ultimate. It even appeared in Breath of the Wild. I rather it not return as a major villain in another game because they could ruin its legacy. It needed just one game to really leave an impact not multiple games like Ganon.

6:40 aren't you going to mention that majora can spam attacks a lot more,transform into a gigantic beast as well (his last form),transform people,mind control,literally distorting reality (that guy literally threw the moon toward the earth) it's disappointing that you didn't mention the literal main and most iconic abilities of this character...

@@dimitrilebon6333 This Kid is a Bioweapon made by the Gods, while regular Hylians taks hours to kill a Lynel even in a Group , Link just needs a couple of seconds, and this "kid" cannot even harm Ganon in most cases without a Holy Sword

@@Skylancer727 The Great Deku Tree, he is said to be the Guardian Spirit of the Lost Woods since the Beginning of Time, and Ganondorf killed him by summoning a Demon that would destroy the Deku Tree from the inside, the scary thing is, Ganondorf can summon and control demons before having the Triforce of Power in him...

Soulhax But Majora CAN dodge as well.. And if he gets 25 attacks near the skeleton fast enough,he'll be able to kill Sans really easily. It'd be especially easy if that KR poison didn't apply.

Unfair fight, we all know how Majora could just trap you against a wall in his final form and nonstop throw you, he would easily win. Ganon is stronger, but Majora is just so quick and unpredictable that there’s no way Ganon could win

Just one way to describe it: Ganon is like a very powerful Fire-based Pokemon, Link is with the Master Sword would be a Water-based Pokemon against him and everyone else is a plant-based Pokemon. Just like in Pokemon, mere strength isnt everything, elemental properties are a Major thing, Majora can be killed with Brute Force, Ganon requires Holy Weapons in most cases. Tears of the Kingdom Ganondorf can be as easily harmed as Majora, Twilight Princess Ganondorf however can only be killed with Holy Powers, and even then some fail.

I have to disagree in the battle experience... although ganon has been in more games they could be different reincarnations as well, plus he spends most of the time sealed away in the spiritual realm, and majora has been there since ancient times and we don't actually know if the mask possessed someone else... I mean you just assumed that because of ganon being around for a while he has more experience.

What if the zonai made Majora's mask? They feared its power so much, they sealed it away and escaped to Hyrule through magic. They lived underground for a few centuries/ millenia. And then when they sensed Ganon going off the rails, they went back home

The things Majora’s mask does in the game compared to any Ganon, kinda proves that the mask has powers that each of the parts of the triforce have, it actually rivals it, if not even more powerful. And since most Ganon only has acces to one part makes Majora’s mask much stronger by a long shot. Its only problem is that its very kid like even if you fight him at the end, you notice it and before the fight starts it asks Link to play tag. Cause of that it makes alot of mistakes wich Ganon could exploit, with his experience. I wish at some point we will see a return of Majora’s mask and maybe finaly see actually where it comes from, who made it and maybe it being somewhat more mature wich would make him even more dangerous then he was in the game. Always loved how dark and twisted stuff was in that game and loved the music, my favorite still is Majora’s theme.

The Triforce of Courage literally does almost nothing at all, I am still Questioning its Purpose for Link, and even then the Hero of Time HAS the Triforce of Courage at this time since he brought it back from the future, and he can kill Majora with nothing but a small dagger, the Triforce of Wisdom grants more magical Abilities for Zelda while the Triforce of Power gives Ganondorf complete invulnerability to anything that isnt holy in any way. Which feasts are you referring to that Majora has?

That's a shit point. Fierce Deity destroyed Majora so fast, also. Link The Hero chosen by gods is weak to you? He's a adult and wearing the ultimate blade against evil. Ganon even has the chance to kill Link The Chosen Hero Of Time, which can also destroy Majora. You don't need the mask but you can get it because it's more of a reward for getting all the masks.

I don't believe the two would ever meet like this, Majora would just be a lifeless mask. With Ganon's obsession for power and Majora's tendency to lure those to put it on, you'd think there would be thoughts whispered through Ganon's mind from Majora without his realization. That this mask has some sort of allure to it that'd make him even stronger. Majora is just a parasite waiting for the right host, and the real question is what happens if it managed bind to Ganon.

I kinda feel like this is ignoring most of majoras abilities. Majora is holding back in the boss battle, well, he isn't even trying. In the game, we literally see him create a moon which he is able to just, pull to the planet. That takes immense power. He also is able to simply turn link into different creatures. Like when he turns him into a deku scrub. He's also able to put curses on things to literally change everything from the whether to the water level.

This moon is not even bigger than Clock Town which is only around one square mile tall if not less, it is enough to destroy all life on earth ditectly and indirectly, yet it is still nothing than the actual moon which is around 1/4 of the Size of the earth in Size

Majora's mask is ancient. Majora is even older. That should give him more experience. He also can destroy the planet in 3 days. It takes Ganon under 7 years to rule a country. Maybe Ganon can only die by the master sword(although I'm sure he'd be susceptible to power greater than his), but what's he going to do when the planet is blown up? Float aimlessly in space while Majora leaves for a dimension he can create on the fly?

I suspect that if Ganondorf put on Majora's Mask, he would be influenced, but not controlled by it. Someone like Link or Zelda would probably just try to take the mask off as soon as it put evil thoughts in their head, but for Ganondorf, this would not be a deterrent as he is the demon king. Thus, you'd probably end up with a more evil and powerful version of Ganondorf with Majora taking the role of both a magical artifact and an underling like Ghirahim who would share goals and team up with him.

This is an actual historic technique called a Mordhau stroke or murder stroke. And as Skalllagrim showed, you can do this completely bare handed as long as you grip the sword properly.

It managed to gain enough life force from all those people using cursing rituals to start affecting outside of the mask so they sealed it away and the reason why I'm saying this is cuz this is like a collaboration between all the different sources of information and this is what it points to my interpretation only and it shouldn't be considered the interpretation but I always feel personally that this is the interpretation of the origin of the mask of majora.

In the hyrule encyclopedia majoras mask literally is so powerful it created termina from skullkids mind. An entire tangible dimension, yet it wanted to destroy it anyway. Maybe for the fun of it or just to prove a point. Majora’s mask is so fun to think about. Maybe that’s why it has that weird second stage in its final battle; It never took Link seriously until the very end. And as a cherry on top, if it can make a whole reality by itself it’s almost as strong as the three goddesses all by itself.

It'll be cool to see a Zelda game where they both team up and when you make it to them, in the middle of the boss battle, him and ganondworf will start fighting and either ganon would win or it'll become a 3 way fight as a certain portion of the boss battle either up until you kill one of them or one kills the other that'll be a Zelda boss fight that'll go down in the fandom for a long time and would probably be inspiration for future games

2 years later and I'm pretty sure that Ganondorf would put up a hell of a fight but ultimately lose to Majora. Ganon though, ON THE OTHER HAND, would only be restrained by time, and with enough time, it would be a landslide in favor of Ganon. He's literally had Link canonically ended twice by mere underlings, and when Link was the only one who bested Majora, it shouldn't be a surprise that Ganon could beat Majora.

Well, in the comics majora is a ancient dragon with great armor.while ganondorf only really relies on the triforce of power. Plus he took 7 years to take over.When majora took 3 days to literally destroy the entire world,and he was going easy on link. So in my opinion majora wins

Actually, Ganondorf with the Triforce of Power is NOT the toughest of his version. Forgetting A Link to the Past? He has THE FULL. FREAKING. TRIFORCE. Plus, he's immune to damage aside of light arrows.

Majora's true powers aren't ever really explained, he can change which body you're inhabiting and pull a celestial body out of the Earth's gravitational lock, he could most definitely send Ganon to the moon and send the moon, well back to where it belongs

Here's the thing, the Majora's Mask is literally invincible until you travel back in time at least 4 times to gather all the giants. I don't believe any incarnation of Demise possesses that ability, and thus none of them would be able to best the Mask.

I personally believe the Zonai Tribe Link's clan build the Major Mask with help of a Green Sky Dragon and Powerful Magic combination to create a magic artifact to use to defend themselves from evil monsters and of course to defeat Ganon the Giant Warthog if he ever threatened their Tribe's race with extinction!

Gannondorf may have an advantage against Majora's mask where even if the mask was to use it's arms as whips and due to the fact that Ganondorf has good combat skills hes likely able to cut off the mask's whip-like arms in any way, also Majora's mask is also vulnerable so long as no one wears the mask since it gets it's power used by it's wearer to where like skull kid who was able to create the illusionary world of Termina. so yeah Ganondorf already had the advantage since in reality Majora's mask is just a mask.

The actual background mower is the mask was used to seal away at the chaos deity and then it was used for cursing rituals so they could curse the deity in The mask and subjugate the smallest fragment safely as possible of its power of course but then that's cursed power always has a negative with its positive like a monkey paw

Great video but I just wanted to point out that you really only covered the final boss when it comes to majors. What I mean by that is that majora displays a few more magical abilities outside of boss fights. Do I think these few abilities would change the outcome of the fight? No I don't but it would have been nice if you talked about them.

@@drwily I disagree, especially with a ganon empowered by the Triforce. I think Ganon would be powerful enough to stop the moon from coming down, or to otherwise combat this. And if we are talking A Link to the Past ganon, who has the full power of the Triforce behind him? Yeah, no. Majora wouldn't stand a chance, even WITH hurling the moon down.

wow you forgot a shit ton of majoras abilities like possession, shape shifting, being able to manipulate gravity, flight, turning invisible, teleportation, fire shit, near inability to feel pain or even downright immunity to pain making armor useless, godlike power, healing factor, the ability to give life to objects, the ability to make anything from thin air, tremendous strength making weapons useless, size changing abilities, hallucination/illusion abilities, making his skin near impenetrable or it being like that by default, dragon magic/arcane magic, time powers, terraforming, magic powers strong enough to blow up the world freeza style, immortality, never aging body, time powers and object manipulation would make it easy for majora to steal the tri force from gannon making him an anthill next to a mountain, having the magic abilities to move planets if he used that on gannon he would be smooshed into paste, rip souls out of bodies killing them instantly, transformation magic he could turn gannon into a cow and the tri force of power into a dorrito and much much much more so seems to me you didn't do your research my boy

Majora can completely anihilate ganondorf if he wants to, however he will never be able to kill him as he does not posess any holy weapons. It's like pitting deadpool against most fictional characters. One overwhelms by a ton, the other just cannot be killed

1:14 you said bewitching rituals instead of hexing rituals and that just bothered me immensely even though it's not THAT big of a deal. But the words have different connotations and are not synonymous with each other. Hexing implies curses, whereas bewitching implies charms. The first is almost exclusively negative and the latter is almost exclusively positive. Extremely tiny nitpick but it made me REEEEE for a few moments and I had to say it so I could watch the rest of the video XD

This matchup is a little hard to make out since you have Majora against Ganondorf from multiple dimensions and timelines. If we took either his ocarina of time version or a link to the past version, then I think Majora would have a hard time. If you used either Demise or WW Ganondorf, then it would be a close match in favor of Majora. Majora would easily trump original Ganondorf, TP Ganondorf and any other version that has appeared. Next, do either Dark Link vs Vaati or Yuga vs Vaati.

Nah majora would wipe the floor with Ganon. He was holding in his first ever fight because he didn’t expect a challenge. He won’t underestimate his opponent again and use all of his other powers like controlling Ganons mind, crushing him with huge objects, possessing other people to preserve his life and lashing out with his whips. Or he would just possess ganon and destroy everything using him as a vessel
