I think Plo Koon is just as wise and even smarter than Qui Gon, not to mention he aged way slower, so in my opinion he would’ve been an even better teacher. Plo Koon was also an empath so I think he might have let Anakin be with Padme and he would teach him not to let his feeling for Padme cloud his judgement

What if Count Dooku became the Supreme Chancellor in Episode 1?

After qui gon I think plo would have been the perfect master for anakin. Under plo he would have received much higher quality training And discipline than he did from Obi wan. Plo was one of the few jedi who Anakin would listen to such as when he would tell anakin to change tactics on occasion. Remember when Ashoka wa a kidnapped he ordered anakin to leave instead of to continue to search for her? If Obi wan told anakin that anakin would have told him to stick it where the sun don’t shine.

Honestly I think anyone that could have been a father figure to him would have been able to do it qui gon would have been the best for a few reasons he followed the will of the force even if it went against the council he had a connection with him already, and he was the one who was uncovering Palpatine's plot and I doubt he would have been blindsided and dooku would have told him about it if he fell to the darkside in the first place qui gons death was the last straw

I'm really confused because after year of legends sub stories and interviews. I'm always shocked by how much everyone runs to cut Anakin and padme relationship short. Even though their relationship isn't the problem the Jedi and the sith are. Ever since they betrayed one another.the Jedi and the sith have always been the issue. For their views got more rigged as time progressed to the point of taking infants and forbidden love relationships. Even though that is the biggest form of light and love. The Jedi were fools and Yoda though great was the founder of those fools. The biggest problem of padme and Anakin was having to keep it secret because palpatine and the Jedi with their desires of grandor. That plus years of trauma and it's no one the golden boy popped. The one thing keeping him sane was his wife. Which was why she was the last straw to break the Camel back. The Jedi ignore the Force for what they believe is light. The sith seek to abuse it for what the believe is dark.

Obi-wan of the revenge of the sith would due well as the teacher of the chosen one. Obi-wan of the phantom menace is just to inexperienced to be successful as the chosen ones teacher. It would be better if phantom menace obi-wan asked the jedi Councils more senstive and compassionate members to train anakin until the age of 15 years. While that's going on obi-wan would be receiving training from the jedi council as well as doing intensive research in the jedi archives so that when anakins 15th birthday occurs obi-wan would be ready to train anakin skywalker. Also freeing anakins mother and setting her up on tattooine with the resources she needs to make a comfortable living would benefit anakins state of mind considerably.
