Imagine if there are two kind of ending in SA2. If you beat Final Hazard as Shadow, the original ending triggers. But, if you beat Final Hazard as Sonic, this ending triggers instead. Imagine that

@@crossoverworlds2678 I think there could be another cutscene later on that shows Sonic actually surviving since Sonic survived without a single scratch when Eggman dropped him from his space station while Sonic was in his werehog form. He should be able to survive even if he got reverted back to his base form, right?

@@dylanzlol7293 Sorry for being a month late -_-“ And yeah, that could be possible, but what if Sonic falls somewhere far away? How would Sonic himself be able to locate the place in which he’s in? It could probably take him months to get back or for his friends to find him. There’s *endless possibilities* , but just for plot armor’s sake, they’d probably make him fall in somewhere in station square if this was ever to be a scenario.

A few things happens I believe: -Shadow the Hedgehog Game is the very next game released -With Sonic gone, Amy becomes more mature and independent without Sonic's presence (or Shadamy becomes Canon 😭) -Sonic 2006 is the rebirth of Sonic and it becomes the Greatest Sonic Game of all time!

I've watched this so many times! I like the angry banter with Sonic and Shadow, but I also like these real moments too. Showing there is an actual friendship between them. I can't even begin to imagine how painful that return to the ARK must have been. Telling Sonic's friends about his sacrifice. 😢And that ending... I always knew Tails was one bad incident away from going bad. Still, I love this so much! And your other videos are amazing too!

It makes a good Superman and Batman parallel between the two, which I like a lot more than the stupid Goku and Vegeta, Naruto and Sasuke Shonen rivalry SoJ always tries to give them. Like I know Sonic is inspired by Shonen Genre Heroes, but we don't need that kind of rivalry where the two get stronger for the sake of beating each other and proving who's number one all the time, I like it when Shonen has rivals that do clash with each other, but deep down have a respect for one another and actually have somewhat of a friendship develop between the two!

I just went back and watched the original before this one and this is about 100x better, although i probably still like the original better cuz nostalgia and what not. Wow, it's incredible & much more awesome! This remastered "What If?" Video really is more advanced & better then the original GMod Version. And you even reused some old music & added the newer songs tat wasn't in the original as well. I kinda like the Shadow The Hedgehog Broken Track Music at the end of it. Was really catchy, a bit rough yet smooth & amazing! Definitely going to look it up when I have the time for it, I might like it, I might not. Will have to wait & see once that time comes. Can't wait to see a Part 2 of your "What If?" Series, man. Whichever that next "What If?" Video is, I hope it's much better & fun watching in its Remastered Animated Style. Sometimes I wonder how the Sonic Franchise would have looked like, if this event had taken place? I always thought shadow fell because apart from being hes frist time using a super form in such hostile situation drained him,its also because he had the last hit on the biolizard wich drained him a bit more than sonic who managed to teleport in the ark before losing the form,apart from shadow alredy having a worse stamina/resistance than sonic Also sonic adventure 2 was supposed to be the last entry on the series,and this would have been a perfect finale with a succesor than people love and a heartbreaking ending,with sonic going as he would like to,saving everyone

I can’t help but feel this was made to co exist with Sega Scourges what if Sonic lost his memory. He even referenced your original animation in the first part.
