Well, if you liked this more grounded approach I recommend checking out my what if Sonic Frontiers had a Tournament or What if Sonic Died. Both are written like this.

What if the Freedom Fighters of Alice Acorn was part of the game timeline and and teamed up with Sonic all the way to Sonic Forces? #2. What if the Soul Dimension and Mobius merged and stabilized ( This would have long term Consequences to many characters, The environments, & The timeline itself including other villains like Mephyllis, Dark Giya, Chaos, The Nocturnis Clan, Eggman Nega, Dr.Starline, & The End? #3. What if Zeena Stumbled by a warp ring and was in Sonic Mania 🤔

It's already set up for sonic to be the one with amnesia during the events of heroes... just like with shadow when he fell during the original SA2

Not sure he can look at himself after loosing to Tails...

The main issue is the production for that series has become so insanely high for one person

From memory, Eggman never made Neo. Metal programmed that upgrade on his own which is how he surprised Eggman.

The Master Emerald is the strongest thing to ever exist . So if it powered the Eclipse cannon then we would get a weapon that can be used to conquer dimensions .

@@PeterOkoye-dc2sc In Sonic 3&K the reason Knuckles was able to knock out Sonic out of his Super Form is because Sonic didn't have his guard up . The second reason is because Knuckles is the guardian of Master Emerald which grants him his own chaos abilties , Sonic and Shadow when they have any amount of Chaos Emeralds were shown to do offensive chaos powers , so we can say Knuckles has defensive chaos powers from the Master Emerald . When Knuckles heard Robotnik's side of the story about the events of Sonic 2 he most likely absorbed some power of the Master Emerald and when he ambushed Sonic he used that energy to fully extract the Chaos Emeralds out of him by manipulating Chaos Energy .
