Somehow I thought this video would be longer, but it was only about a little over 9 minutes. This is a discussion video on what Tobias and Cynthia's Pokemon Battle Could have been if we had seen it in the Anime. This is PROBABLY the last video I will do on Tobias, just because I feel like I have said everything that is needed about him

So we know Cynthia is still the Sinnoh league champion. But how do you guys think the match would be? 😅 This is just a possible scenario so anything can happen. But I want to hear your thoughts below!

Cynthia would likely embarrass Tobias. He lost 2 of his Pokémon to Sinnoh Ash using backup Pokémon. Imagine how this legend spammer would fair against the 2nd ranked trainer

@@cael4065 By backup Pokémon you mean Pikachu, Sceptile and Heracross. I'm sure sinnoh ash with or without "backup Pokémon" would be able to take out two of Cynthias pokemon, especially if they had a 6 on 6.

@@rocky_danger_buff5845 Yes half of Ash’s team was good for that fight but the others weren’t up to the same standard. Cynthia going all out would have obliterated Ash, especially since Ash lost to an elite 4 member from that same region

Roserade with natural cure makes quick work of darkrai. Milotic mirror coats and one-shots latios. Tobias forfeits and gets PTSD after this shocking experience and never returns. end of the story

@@nishantdayama4558 Well we saw latios' giga impact cancelling/over powering sceptile's leaf blade and pikachu's iron tail.It looks to me that milotic would lose, to tobias' latios.

Honestly I feel like Tobais never faced Cynthia because he didn't really have any interest in being a regional champion due to the responsibilities that come with it. He probably set off on a new Journey to catch more legendary pokemon. Tho I do think it was a massively missed opportunity to have Tobias introduced as the leader/ creator of project Mew.

Honestly I'd go the other direction. Rather than giving Tobias an all-legendary team, I like the idea of him having a F.E.A.R. user. It would be hilarious.

Remember how Tobias praised Ash for Gible's draco meteor being able to damage any other pokemon except for his darkrai. Imagine Cynthia who has the final evolved form of Gible and the most op garchomp using draco meteor to take out tobias. Cynthia would couter darkrai's ice beams with brick break, wake up when Tobias uses dark void and use draco meteor to take out darkrai. Garchomp gets recalled because of ice beam damage from Darkrai and sends out milotic to battle latios. Milotic takes out Latios with ice beam and draining kiss but gets severe damage in the process. Spiratomb becomes a nightmare to deoxys. Spiratomb just sucker punches deoxys when deoxys switches to speed or attack form since these forms have no defense and spiratomb wins. Spiratomb then fights Latias with barely any health left and takes Latias out with destiny bond. Manaphy beats roserade with ice beam and gets taken out by lucario. Tobias sends out heatran and gets OHKOed with 4x effective earthquake from garchomp. Cynthia was heavily nerfed in her fight against ash. If garchomp had swords dance and earthquake instead of draco meteor and stealth rock, garchomp would have destroyed pikachu and mega lucario.

Tobias's Darkrai would one shot Cynthia's Garchomp. Or a combo of Dark Void + Ice beam + Bad dreams would take out Garchomp.

If Ash in Gen 4 can take out his darkrai and draw with his latious, then he not beatin Cynthia who is leauge above anyone at that point. Tobias is really strong, but Cynthia is the world 2nd strongest trainer at that point (3rd now), and alain, who has taken one full power legend, is weaker than her so Cynthia won with a little bit of trouble.

You're right, mb, lmao 🤣. I mean, it's possible, after Darkrai and Latios, Tobias team was in the air. The other 4 pokemon might not have been legendaries. But who knows 🤷‍♂️

Not those 2 in particular, but as a scenario where people don't imagine Cynthia's Garchomp could "sweep" the whole thing. Because at the time during DP no one really defeated Garchomp. At least no one we saw on screen did it. So I thought, let's say Garchomp isn't the only thing she uses in the entire fight. And I say sweep because when we saw she fought Flint of the elite four, at the end of DP Garchomp was still the main she used, never really saw a switch in Pokemons. But that's just my opinion anyways!

Fun fact: Cynthia’s Garchomp is a female . She doesn’t have a cut in her fin on her back that all males have . I like this detail from the artists/animators

no way you think her Garchomp would beat 2 legendaries back to back. since we've never seen the fight, the battle probably didn't happen. given that Tobias shows unbothered personaility, he probably didn't give a fuck to even fight an elite four let alone being a champion. I guess he forfeited himself in the sinnoh league or didn't show up in the day of battle.

He would likely fight he elite four since he clearly wanted to battle trainers in the league and went through all the gyms. He would lose to Cynthia due to being less experienced and Cynthia having a better strategy. Garchomp easily beats Latios and Darkrai gets beat by Lucario or Togekiss

@@cael4065 Ash had Sceptile and Pikachu on his team which are probably included in his top 5 strongest pokemons. Of course they could do something against legendary pokemon with the help of a decent pokemon such as Heracross + some average ones who still contributed in battle.

It wasn't shown because it never happened, option 1 happened, Flint beat Tobias, that's why we saw a match of his Infernape versus Cynthia's Garchomp that Ash had been watching, whoever takes down the winner of the league, gets to challenge Cynthia instead if they failed to get through the Elite Four.

It is incredible how there are some "fans" who believe tobias has a chance, bruh, sinnoh ash took 1/3 of his team, cynthia spiritomb in the masters 8 against a 100x stronger ash took 3 of his pokemon, bruh, spiritomb alone would wash away both of ash and tobias

Well, we have to keep in mind that we dont know if Tobias actually fought Cynthia. It was said that he either lost during the elite 4 stage or Cynthia herself. When we saw returning champions from each respective region, Cynthia was the representative for Sinnoh. So my guess would mean she retained her title someway, somehow. And I know Tobias defeated Ash, and Ash beat Cynthia, and if Tobias can beat Ash, he can beat Cynthia. Meaning Tobias is stronger than both, I think, is what you meant. Apologies if I'm wrong on that. But, it's only speculation on what team Tobias has. We will never know. What I speculate could absolutely be wrong to, btw. It's just fun, speculation what could have been, lol

@@lynx873 nope, it would change nothing, ash used the 6 champion level pokemon he has, charizard wasnt one of then, not even greninja, that was destroyed by alain charizard, none of his other pokemon are on the level of champion, and btw cynthia was hard nerfed for him to have barely a chance, like the 3 dragon moves, cynthia would anihilate tobias

Cynthia is ranked 2nd in the World at this time and we’ve seen plenty of legendaries go down to non legends. Cynthia is a superior trainer and with a better strategy she would undeniably beat Tobias. He likely beat the elite four and lost to Cynthia
