I had to pay for a full year of AI to get it. Once I got it, I already used it about 5 times, and 4 out of 5 times, it managed to do all of the searches and gave me not only the results but also a summary, which allowed me to understand what I was really looking for. However one time it refused to help me, saying my instructions were too vague and we had a little fight about it. Anyway, it's an essential tool. Finally, I can see how this setup is not just a second memory but an actual second brain.
The use cases that you spoke about opens up a lot of avenues. I have been using it only to summarize my book notes or, any other notes that I have been taking.. But after watching the video, I have ideas to expand my usage.. Thank you!

🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation: 00:00 🗣️ *Notion introduces a Q&A assistant that allows your notes to respond to questions, making it a powerful tool for knowledge management.* 01:21 🕵️ *Q&A can be activated by clicking the Sparkle icon or by selecting text and using the "Ask AI" button, enabling a conversation with the AI.* 04:17 📝 *Q&A is useful for creating proposals or outlines, helping in the initial stages of project planning by synthesizing ideas from various notes.* 05:38 🔍 *Q&A efficiently collects and collates information from different sources, providing a quick list of movies, books, or courses mentioned in your notes.* 08:47 🧠 *Q&A excels in summarizing existing knowledge, allowing you to quickly generate insights and learnings on a specific topic from your notes.*
Hello Tiago Bro 🙏, I learned a lot from you ❤ One question - Have you stopped using Evernote as second brain ? and using only Notion now ? Curious to know. Thanks !
@@TiagoForte I would love to see a video on how you more specifically use Evernote vs Notion, especially on a personal level vs team/professional. I'm just an individual user, but heavy on Evernote. Notion looks interesting, but not sure it adds value to what I do.... but always exploring and learning.
Tiago, thank you so much for PARA, it‘s amazing also for neurodivergent folks. Do you have a video or tips on how to align youtube playlists with PARA? RU-vid is a big source of knowledge for so many but not all videos need to go into the second brain, yet you still want them saved so you find them again. how do your playlists look like, do you use them?
I got the yearly subscription just yesterday and up until now I cannot find the Q and A feature available. I feel a bit disappointed 😥. Could you please kindly provide with a piece of advice so that I can get that to work in my account?
Ugh, I bought an annual subscription to Evernote after reading BASB. Should I migrate before more I my notes get too unwieldy? 🤔 Any chance Evernote might be working on something similar 😭🤞🏼
You can ask a refund but Evernote's search is pretty solid. You should consider what do you use in order to make a decision: do you use handwritten notes? OCR? do you need offline mode? do you have locked notes? If you don't use none of these, I think it's a good option to migrate as soon as you consider.
@@Rapha-Aguiar Ah that’s alright. Already migrated and enjoying it. Although, it’s not really the AI features that has been making the difference for me. The UIUX just seems to suit my personal preferences a bit better. Most importantly, I’m glad the migration was mostly painless. As our knowledgebase grows in size and value, it’d suck to have it be so tethered to a specific tech service 👀.
I gave it the exact same prompt as you and asked what other information I had in my notes, this was it's response: I'm sorry, but I can't provide the information you're looking for. As a language AI model, I don't have access to your personal files or notes. I can only generate responses based on the information you provide in the document, selection, and instructions sections.
Great Video! How about privacy? Is this AI local or does it need to send your questions and files into some cloud before presenting an answer like chatgpt does?
Hi Tiago, great video but doesn’t this leap forward in technology essentially make the treatise of organising your notes in an optimised way, outlined in Building a Second Brain irrelevant? If the AI is so good at parsing why not just keep absolutely everything in one giant note and let it do the heavy lifting? Just a thought. Thanks
Q&A can actually see the properties of your notes. If you don't want to write by hand things like "and this task is in progress now" - you still will need to use all other organizational tools just to give your AI companion enough information to work with.
I understand the financial incentive for accepting Notion as a sponsor for this video, but it does undermine the credibility. Would you really send that set of bulletpoints to the festival organizer?
Absolutely useless tool. Clicking the ''ask AI'', you can't even use the Q&A feature. If you click the Q&A button in the bottom of the screen, then you can't select text to ask it from. I literally could not get it to do one useful thing. Even if I did what you did in the video it still doesn't work. Utter trash.
