What inspires me: music, mood boards, & a desk reorganization 

as a mood reader (mood-audience of any variety really ... ) I love love LOVEEEE seeing a visual of the aesthetic/mood/vibes of your stories!!!!!! also love the shoutout....we are in fact, still struggling but making the best of it hahahahaha 🥰

You’ve inspired me to get back into moodboarding. I make playlists for my projects for inspiration but I used to love making my own collages!

Music is a huge part of my inspiration!! I heard Christina Perr and Jason Mraz sing Distance an a character arrived along with her story - craziness!! It’s not the same as the song but boy did it bring this character knocking!!

I love this video and believe it or not, you just gave me some great inspiration because I was absolutely writing down the music that you were suggesting and hopefully I'll be able to find them and listen to them. Do love me some Bob Dylan too. I used to make mood boards in the physical form but now it's just not as feasible so I make them digitally and use Canva to create a nice layout for them. It's not the same but it'll do until I'm able to do the physical one's again. I love, love, love, Pinterest and have so many boards over there. Oh, I think I know what I'm doing today 😁😁(goes over to Pinterest to fall down the rabbit hole lol). Great video Megan and also, you reminded me that I really want to get into writing some letters this year to people and sending them snail mail style. I kind of miss doing that and there's just something special about getting and sending letters to people you care about and have formed meaningful friendships with. 😊 Take care Megan! ❤❤

Your mood board looks so wonderful. I really enjoyed watching your process. Actually, though, (I suppose I'm slightly showing my age by saying this, but...) I've never really thought of a mood board as something that you could physically make. Anytime that I've done one, it's always been digital. I do suppose that the price of ink might have something to do with that though. Haha

Are you sure you have enough beige markers? Knowing when to drop a project is a skill I still need to learn. I spent 3 years working on a project that lead no where. Many times I had the feeling I need to drop this but I didn't partially because I had no other ready idea lingering back in my head and partially because I had already spent so much time on it, that dropping it felt like acknowledging that I had just wasted my time. It took some hard rejections and over a year of not touching it, while working on something else, before I started seeing what was not working in it. There are bits I want to salvage from it but as a whole it's not salvageable. If you ever decide to make a video about your bullet journal I'd be really glad. Like how much of it is life, how much writing? Do you have any physical notebooks for your writing projects or do you keep it all digital + mood-board.
