I ordered one of these and was so excited. I loved the idea of a foldable box. Then I set it up and put my arms in, and man that thing moves around a bunch. Not so great for keeping air “still.” I returned it right away. So, not saying it definitely doesn’t work, it really might, but I didn’t trust it at all. You can watch the sides of the thing billow and flow back and forth, pushing air around. I also ordered their Martha tent kit, and that’s been amazing.

I started my grow bag in December. The instructions gave me a time and the date was today. I'm a little concerned that what I have is a bag of white mold. Is it supposed to be a little fuzzy? The bag was so wet inside I couldn't really see what was in it. I did go in a couple times and break up the white stuff during the last few weeks. Today I cut off the top of the bag and I'm just not sure what I have. I'm leaving it open to dry out a bit.

I have just a small tip for you guys: once the needle is in place, use your thumb, the one that's holding the syringe, and push it off gently. I, and people I trained, have been stabbed before by pulling it off with our non hands.

if you want to flame sterilise inside of the noc box, you will have to wait for the alcool to dissipate, but for about how much time should you wait?Also, while you wait for it to dissipate, wont any contamination will get inside in the meantime?

So... after inoculating the bag inside the noc box. Can i just leave the bag in there if i dont have another tent to put in? Then add mono tub in when its time? Do you just place remainder of syringe in a refrigerator too?

I have that same tent what do u use to heat it? I have a small wall plug in heater I use and have it at the bottom. Seem though it gets to hot even though it's set at 70°

Love watching you videos, your voice is soothing... you are the Barry White of Mushrooms... I am a newbie too... moving from a big incubator box, to a tent about same size as yours... I like the idea of having inoculating and fruiting conditions all inside one tent... I used to have two chambers and have them separate (one in darkness, no ventilation).

Instead of this or a flow hood I use an air purifier with a true Hepa and a plastic bag taped to it and work inside of that I’ve done agar work and everything and have had No contamination.

So for anyone wanting to complain about the price think about it this way my parents, family, friends that don’t know well, etc know nothing about my grows this allows you to be stealthy and put it away clean and clear of questions look at it this way that’s why people purchase things such as this yea it costs but it’s an investment just like a pc or tools to aid your grows

Cardboard, rubber yellow gloves, plastic wrap the top = a dollar for the rubber gloves. Always use on the stove with the oven on and the oven door slightly open so heat is rising. I don't use gloves. I don't get mold or containimation

Bro, you don’t know what you’re talking about. I don’t know where you think you can get A SAB That comes with a box of alcohol prep pads and gloves That also comes with a stainless steel lab tool kit For $29. You can’t even get a still airbox alone for that price on Amazon made out of cheap crappy materials that are Going to rip and tear very easily if not showing up at your front door already torn. The stainless steel kit alone is 30+ dollars a box of good gloves that are not going to rip every single time you put one on is gonna run you 12 to 20 and a box of alcohol prep pads is about 10 bucks. The cheapest but still good quality still airbox you can find on Amazon is about $50. Then you gotta take an account that they are a company that have to make money so add on $20-$30 to make profit that comes to almost exactly the price they are listing Give or take a few dollars. North spore is one of the greatest companies that are doing the most right now. They are a reputable company known for their reliable products and I have not heard one person complain about the prices that actually does mycology work. The only people I’ve ever heard complain are the people that have never even grown one mushroom or understand the process of doing so.
