I felt ALL of this sis. I was the same way. God will judge these false teachers for their foolishness, however I was without excuse because they met a felt need. I wanted the "stuff" but not God, and it was easy to work me up into a frenzy as opposed to just telling me to repent of my sin and turn to Christ. That message was too plain and simple. Being really slain in the Spirit is OK. When Jesus rose from the dead and the guards were outside the tomb, Jesus blew on them and they fell backwards. Not sure of exact scripture, but it's in one of the books where it talks about Jesus coming out of the tomb and being resurrected. I've been slain in the Spirit many times. I sure never made myself fall. I've been saved over 45 yrs and I'm pentecostal.
