@SilhouetteSuccess Hi! I've been anticipating your video and I'm concerned that the machine sounded just like my Portrait 3. 😢 Please tell me that it was only because you have a state-of-the-art microphone, and that the 4 is much quieter? 🙏🏽
It is a bit noisy. I don't have a 3 to compare it to. It's louder than the Cameo 5, though. 😬 No state of the art equipment here - besides the Silhouettes.
I got a Camo 5 for a short period of time (it broke almost right away in the rollers so I returned it and to be honest it wasn’t a huge a difference in sound compared to my cameo 4 or Portrait 3. Almost as loud IMO
@Piggeandfriends So sorry this happened to you. I'm dealing with a chronic illness that entails extreme sensitivity to sounds (as well as a number of other things), so I am grateful that my new C5 and P4 machines are noticeably quieter to me while cutting. The auto-blade adjustment smacking and overcut clacking are about the same, though! 😊
