In the Japanese version of this trailer, Sephiroth directly refers to Tifa by name in the ending scene. So there's no confusion as to he's referring to.
I also noticed there were slight deviations in the combat scenes. They didn't just voice over the same footage. It was two completely different playthroughs per video. The first scene with Cloud going ham, the monsters are positioned slightly differently. When he attacks Jenova, he approaches her in a different spot. Just two of the ones I noticed off the top of my head.
@@TheKyfe Likely that they had to record separate footage of the same locations/gameplay for two different languages. The japanese trailer had japanese ui.
i 100% can believe that sephiroph is terrorizing cloud since it makes sense in part 1/2 that he is trying to destabilise clouds perception of reality. i think he's causing mistrust between cloud and tifa -but at the same time i think it's going to be a mindf*** to us because we won't know what the 'canon' currently is - has sephiroph actually killed tifa or hasn't he. I think that's the draw to fans of the original. In regards to the timelines - I think the beginning being zacks alt reality makes sense, especially since he was outside the tornado with cloud which could be why cloud apparently isnt dead.
@@ItsLazBoi yeah it kinda makes even more sense with sephiroph being from the future too - this is a guy who knows how integral tifa is to restoring clouds identity, screwing up their dynamic would be like the best way to succeed this time round.
100%. In the original VII he straight-up lied about so many things, or was just wrong about the things he told Cloud. We can't trust Sephiroth to be an accurate source of information.
He also knows that tifa was the one to help cloud in the original, so I bet that's why he's focusing so much on causing a rift between them specifically,
I am sorry but he heard the "game who redefined the rpg genre with his iconic characters and rich story telling" and the 1st game that came in mid was CYBERPUNK?!
This is gonna be SO INSANE!!! Square-Enix has really made some excellent progress so far! First of all the incident we saw might be in the timeline where Zack is now alive. Bugenhegan and Elena are looking so good too, though I was hoping we would see Cid and Vincent as well but I guess in the next trailer we will. Also what Sephiroth said about Tifa might just be another evil manipulation trick on Cloud. Anyway I am SO looking forward to this and since it said early next year hopefully that means it'll be released in January!😁✊🏿
Hi no idea if you'll see this but here goes nothing I watched your Rebirth streams to the end and saw you were upset and disappointed in it I'm here to say you should watch Easy Allies Spoiler Mode with Maximilian Dood it's really worth a watch and made me look at it in a different light!
There's one question that's been burning in the back of my mind, and NOBODY is addressing it! Who's the guy who clearly yelled out "Two Discs!" That guy's voice has been heard by hundreds of thousands of people, and nobody's talking about him. He doesn't even realize his voice is technically famous, now.
@NullPoEx First and foremost, my comment was a joke, lol. 2nd, I don't believe 2 discs for a PS5 has happened with any other games, yet (I could be wrong, but I don't think I am, lol). FF7 Rebirth is exclusive to the PS5. It's not on the PS4, so I'm not really concerned with any PS4 examples. Even FF7 Remake came on 2 discs so I'm well aware it's possible, lol.
THEORY (though I still have lots of "why's?"): 1st original timeline: Tifa died at the Mt Nibel reactor 2nd timeline (the OG FFVII): Tifa survived, Aerith died. Post-FFVII Remake = 3rd timeline
