And this is exactly why DOA is in the hole its in now. Losers like this is exactly why the game doesn't get better. Im definitely having my say in this
Ive been trying to find the interview but i couldn't itagaki said dead or alive is like a sushi bar with hot girls roller skating he said it was a perfect blend of sex appeal and a fighting action game
I feel like doa5 and 6 are over sexualized but itagaki didn't create those games he had a perfect balance of attractiveness sexy outfits and a perfect blend of action/combat
Tekken 8 has a lot of DOA aspects. Pound for pound DOA is the better game. If it had the same beast behind it like Tekken, it wouldn't be close. I prefer the characters of DOA over Tekken and I've been a Tekken fan since the 90's. The hold button is really the game changer
I don’t think there’s one better than the other. Both doa and tekken are equally amazing games I prefer tekken just a little slightly but I love doa just as much As well as virtua fighter I originally came from soul calibur. That was my introduction to fighting games and I have the most nostalgia for it lol
I may be in the minority in this but to me if some of these ppl only invest time to doa just for the sex appeal they’re not real fans who love the franchise. Yes the fan service is there & it’s a cool thing it’s there but this is a fighting game first & foremost. If they don’t like the fighting game they aren’t real fans
Where was I? I was yelling my lungs out at the back row. Its too bad I m now considered the voiceless because I m too tiny to be seen. During the 90k tourney I was sending bug reports about the doa 6 autographic bug where my eyes hurt during 2 second blackouts on random intervals. As time passed, I learned the hard way that if a triple A dev has my money they dont give a shit. There were also people in the community that defended the 90k tourney which I thought it was a bad idea at the time. A tournament with a huge prize pool a month after a game release was too soon. DOA community as a whole is small but we welcome people and try to help them anyway we can. Now history repeats itself with tekken 8. Let see the state of tekken 8 after the tournament.
