WHAT IS IT LIKE TO BE A CONSULTANT FOR SLIMMING WORLD? 

I always thought you would be an amazing consultant but this vlog has just confirmed it!!! You are a real life wonder women and your enthusiasm and zest for life is contagious!!! !! Your members are so lucky to have you!!!

Was fab to see how another consultant does their group. Love the group I go to, I'm the weigh lady 😂. I am struggling to get back into the losing habit. Lost 15st and then regained 10st. I will keep soldiering on.

Loved this Nikki! I went to a consultant meeting last night so I wanted to save watching your vlog till I had been. I totally want to be a consultant even more now I’ve seen this video! My youngest is starting school in September 😭😭 so now is the time to do something that I’m passionate about, not just a job for the money only! I need to sort out the financial side and the storage issue which is sure will be fine, I ran an online kidswear for 4 year so stock was hidden all over the place (we don’t have a garage!) So I’m sure these won’t be an issue but I’m feeling motivated now to do this and help others! Thank you for sharing this xx

Wow, you’re such a fabulous consultant. I wish I was this lucky. My consultant was really nice but not very organised and has now left, so my partner and I moved to a new group. I don’t think the consultant there has said more than a few words of hello to us in the several weeks we’ve been going! It’s really off putting, so we’ve stopped going.

It was great to see you setting up and how much goes into it. Nice that you have helpers. And everyone is so happy like they are catching up for a chat. If you were close to us I know my husband would be more inspired,although he does seem to be listening to me more 😂. I said to him,it's not a diet it's a lifestyle change,see I've been listening 😜. I do cook more slimming world meals and have more salad as its healthy eating,and you have made me do that,so thank you. I just don't have to portion control yet and I can have treats when I wwa to,but that could all change when I start putting weight on. But then I will be an expert on what I should be doing. Your mum not putting any makeup on,she looked fine,and then you said have you been in a wind tunnel 😂😂. Great vlog. Xx

I so wish you were my consultant!! I’ve lost 9stone with SW and been at target for 18months. I was on the social team for 2 years too and loved it. Unfortunately my original consultant left and somebody new took over her groups. He started off ok but it just got worse and worse. Only cared about how much money we were taking, Wouldn’t give out food diaries as he didn’t want to check them, he would cut people off in image therapy and move on to the next person. The social team didn’t even get a thank you let alone a Xmas card! (Unlike the beautiful gifts you got your team !) despite many complaints by various people and lots of members leaving, nothing really changed, so I took the tough decision to leave too...... I miss the amazing members and friends I made but I will always give SW a 👍🏼 because it changed my life!!! You are amazing and I can tell people first hand what difference the consultant makes to your journey! 😘

I enjoyed watching this insight into life as a SW. I lost my job in December and still haven't found another and I was thinking of seeing if it was for me. I'm sure I could get the franchise fee together...Thanks Nikki xx

your an incredibly hard working , motivating and positive committed consultant ! I was just like you going through your group 2 days takes me back to exactly how I rolled for 20 years a gold consultant with 3 sessions & over 200 members on the books . sadly however I now wish I had put all my time and effort into something else , building my own empire or another career with paid holidays / pensions that the workplace match ( I am in my 50 s and had to work really hard to build up my pensions on leaving slimming world as I had nothing pension wise ) . Under the umbrella of a franchise they dont have to do any of these employee rights that other companies legally have to adhere to ,its backed up with a water tight contract .They say its your business, it isn't you have to follow slimming world rules and guide lines . However its never too late and I am now working for my own business earning the money I should have done years ago not lining someone else pockets ! my accountant worked out that I took a 50 % decrease in salary when the join for free offers came out and consultants always said the same as you ....I am not doing it for the money but everyone is ,as I am sure you would rather be with your family than in group . Slimming world is a successful , wealthy business and they absolutely have to do it for the money, look on companies house and see what their turnover is . slimming is a ruthless business with all the competition out there !!! Is it the best ever plan to loose weight as a member .... yes , if you stay to a group with a consultant as good as you ( they arent always ) . I am not being negative but truthful before others get swept away and loose years like me through the brainwashing type of vibe , stay strong and keep your own mind . Yes slimming world can be fun to work for , GO into it with eyes wise open , its very hard work but fun at times ( although the Sunday meetings and promotions where always a downer for everyone ) good luck with your future you deserve the best , your a lovely lady xxxxx

You are an awesome consultant. I wish my SW consultant was as dedicated to our group as you are with yours. I've never had a text or card. But our group doesn't currently have a permanent consultant and we feel neglected. Wish I lived near your group.

Hi Nikki, Loved this video! I live in Guernsey and we don't have any groups over here. I am an online member and this is something that I would love to look at in the future (I'm only half way through my journey but I'm so passionate about SlimmingWorld!) Do you know if you have to have been a group member or if Online members could also apply? I have a lot of experience in running different groups through my work (I work for a charity) just not with SimmingWorld :D

Wish I could join your group. Because the one I went to as new member let me fill the form, pay the fee, did the weight and hand me over their starter pack and that’s it. Even though I mentioned to them that it's all a bit confusing for me they said everything is in the book what to eat and what not to eat! And it was my first and last time!!

Do you have to pay for the venues how dose that work just really interested babe Xxx

Can you advise? What did you mean about people not coming to group and having to pay for sessions they missed. Do you mean those on the countdown plans? Hope it is. I returned to my group recently and intend to stay but does that mean I owe for the year I was away?

I like a Saturday group near me, can pay my weekly fee by card! if I can’t make my Thursday morning group.
