Its worse than food poisoning. I had it 3 times so far in my life and its horrendously bad.i didn't even have to strength to move anymore. It leaves you so weak.couldnt even keep water down. The wretching is like bringing up a kidney .sorry it ruined your Xmas. Happened to me at Xmas time too.
Second time I've ever had noravirus. Wasn't quite as horrific as the first time where i was essentially forced to sleep in my bath! This time round, it's a bit more managable. To anyone else reading this while sat on the loo, hold in there, i feel your pain.
I'm off work ! Isolated . Felt so 💩 crappie... not to mention , temp, dry mouth headache, weak, disorientated, couldnt get warm, took hours, sweats etc😮😢....feel I'm making my way back now. Very contagious! Im 62 and this time round it really wiped me out! please isolate ❤
Just getting over this, it is severe. Massive headache and glands in throat swollen right up. That was the first sign of being ill with extreme fatigue. Day 5 now and i can say drinking anything was impossible due to sickness. Just had to rinse mouth out with water. Well done NHS for the best description out there, you are the only one describing the pain in shoulders, upper arms and legs, quite debilitating and the other symptoms pass..i am in my 60 s and havent been so poorly in ages.
All these pains I'm getting and I'm feeling sick. Trouble is my son and daughter work in health care so I'm bound to catch it. Are you feeling all right now?
Symptoms hit me yesterday morning. It stopped yesterday evening. Took time off today for a full 24 hrs freedom of symptoms. Hardest part was not keeping fluids down. I feel much better.
It hit me on Saturday night and at first I thought I had eaten too much and was sick and I hadn't been sick like that for many years! Thankfully the diarrhea stopped yesterday evening as it was horrible but I got told to stay away from work for a couple of days after symptoms resolve. I feel loads better this morning and have started back on simple foods like toast and soup and have got up and dressed after a shower.
Not just winter bug June too it is confusing with food poisoning as its same symptoms it really is horrible people so I feel for those who have it to .
Day 1 ended with fatigue and a headache. Day 2, i woke up exhausted, drained of all energy, a slighty upset stomach and a high fever that evening. Day 3, a full morning of diarrhoea. After the morning period i was 100% back to normal, until i ate a full dinner my wife made me. Then i was all over the place again, diarrhoea returned. Its 4am of Day 4, nothing but dry food now and hopefully this is the end of it.
I’m going through this now, just got past the 48 hour mark since symptoms appeared. I’m on explosive pooping still and I’m over this. I just want to sleep and feel well.
I’m just getting over this, I still feel very weak with not much appetite. I got pretty dehydrated from not being able to keep water down but once the vomiting stopped I started to improve. Unfortunately my elderly mother is in hospital receiving fluids because of the prolonged diarrhoea. She’s getting there now.
As i lay in bed its 3am and this is the worst sickness ive every felt. So much worse than covid. The first 3 hours my stomach killed me- i so wanted pain pills but just thought i would throw them up. I threw up violently 4 times, twice the first hour and once every hour.
I was thinking I was eating like a pig and fucked my stomach. I had vomiting diareaa gastric acid, my muscles hurt and being weak and I was blooated. My gf was the same 2 days before . I just found out is bcs of this bug lol.😮😅
