I believe you forgot to add in the fact that the '5th Gen Fighter' carries HCAA which is a great Arsenal. But I would assume they called it the '5th Gen Fighter' was mainly it was still a prototype because Russia only have 4 of these and they weren't even complete or mass produced.
@@tahko_1236 I heard the RCS was 0.1m. Not great, but not much worse than the Nighthawk and about 10x better than the Super Hornet (at about 1-2m). The J-20 is the one with the obscene RCS (between 1 and 5m, whether you ask China or Australia) But then again the J-20 actually produced in numbers higher than 16, and even if the specs are bad they're still probably built to spec. As opposed to the Felon which almost certainly isn't. I'd say it's worse than the Eagle II, and a bit better than some of the earlier versions... 50 years after those first flew. On paper, the Felon is _so_ much better; and were it upgraded by someone who knew what they were doing,(i.e. actually rebuilding it to spec, fixing it's extremely large number of kinda small stealth issues, giving it proper RAM paint or those fancy ceramic stealth panels the air force is working on) it would be a pretty good fighter I'd rank somewhere between the F-15EX and F-22. In practice those issues aren't fixed, never will be fixed, and the planes aren't built to spec; so it's significantly worse.
@@tahko_1236 Actually, I'm pretty sure it's less. And even then, it has an internal weapons bay, so it retains its stealth while an F/A-18 or a Rafale wouldn't
I’m going to assume they named it that for plausible deniability because of the conflict Russia initiated against a neighbor. Obviously it’s a Su-57, but for obvious geopolitical reasons, most of the global theater sees Russia as the villain, and there might be some convoluted internet politics involved that drove the devs to call it that as to not be accused of supporting Russia or something
One notable difference between the 5TH GENERATION FIGHTER | TOP GUN MAVERICK and the Su-57 is how many mod slots they have. The Su-57 restricts you to 30, and the 5th Gen has 32. Also the cost to deploy is cheaper. You'll mainly find Su-57's in Unlimited lobbies, while you can bring a 5th Gen to a 2500 lobby quite comfortably
Top Gun Lore: Rogue Nation stole Su-57 and call it 5th Gen Fighter Ace Combat Lore: *started when a '95 Germany invades Swiss-Austria, America, Spain, Belgium, Dutch, and Russia joins the war, then Germany Nuke itself with Seven V2s, then finally lose the war after a peace agreement signed ignited a coup d'etat forces around Europe who call themselves AWWNB Forces led by Ukrainian-Born German Luftwaffe Colonel led by Anton Kupchenko who's known for stealing Su-47 from Russia after the fall of USSR and his Project Pendragon*
Wow lol glad I found you! Fun channel! I really like your style, (obviously your content, love me some AC) and your editing is great. Thanks for the video with the side-by-side stats comparison. I am very chronically ill, so video games save my sanity when I'm healthy enough to play them. Recently my PS4 died but I was blessed to find a PS5 at Gamestop and am rebuilding my AC stuff... and to be honest, I'm really glad I have the DLC! I'm relying on the Felon to build up MRP. Stay safe and Happy New Year to all you guys too! Best wishes!
I love the top gun su-57. It has better anti-ground and Anti-air capabilities. The TGM Has Cruise Missiles which are powerful long range weapons while also HCAAs which are very useful in multi-player with Homing, Range, and additional missile parts
Perhaps not only his appearance in the film played a role in such a strange name for this version of the Su-57. As far as I know, the 5th generation fighter was conceived as an export version to countries like India. In fact, this aircraft is a licensed copy of the Su-57, which was supposed to be produced by India, but then India abandoned this idea, as it were, although I could be wrong about this. I only know that this is a licensed copy of the Su-57.
