Should I rank all The DCAMU Movies?

If DC made a live action DCAMU they wouldn’t be failing

If they copy pasted the war verse we'd have the perfect cinematic universe

The DCAU is my childhood and will always best DC Universe ever

Despite the fumbles of the Arrowverse, I think it's still a very memorable DC Universe and is worth a good amount of praise.

You don’t know DC till you watch the animated movies, their live actions don’t even come close.🔥

I think the JL unlimited universe is the best for a variety of reasons because it’s not only focused on the original 7 but it extends to characters we have never heard and the writers give each character the dignity and spot light they deserve from biggest to smallest and that’s what makes it so great.

And don't forget Jason O'mara does one hell of a good Batman

Personally I think the best will always be *DCAU* because it truly told mature, compelling and thought provoking stories with fantastic arcs and incredible depictions of characters that even tend to surpass their comic counter parts. I truly hope James Gunn brings in writers and executive producers of that universe to write or act as consultants for projects in the DCUs future

I think the DCAU is the easy winner for me in terms of overall quality and particularly the way the characters are written. It all starts with B:TAS and all comes together with JLU

if james gunn takes a lot of inspiration from the DCAU and the DCAMU for his universe then it’s pretty much an automatic success

I love the DCAMU, my only problem with it is that it seemed to lack a few movies

If the DCU ends up being the live action version of DCAMU then we’re saved

That Flashpoint movie was so good I rewatched it over and over back then The writers for DCAMU should have been the same ones for the live action movies 😒

Bro the DCAMU hands down is my favorite. Everything about is was perfect made me really care for most of the characters. An showed why Damian is the Best Robin.

Your right the DCAMU was the best universe and had incredible storytelling, but come on i feel the arrowverse deserved to be mentioned in this video.

Almost agree. It did still have some issues like too many characters being able to hurt or best Superman, and there being times that they could have gone darker, but chose not to like with flashpoint just ending the world. That meant that Thomas Wayne never kidnaps the Barry Allen from his world and fails to repeat the same experiment, and just killing Barry Allen.

The DCAU is the best for now.

If they were to take aspects from both the DCAMU and DCAU it could truly be something special. By taking the character building and emotional tones that really made you think, giving us a superman who is more human then most humans, a batman who never backs down and can't decide who the mask truly is and mix that with the DCAMU connectivity between them and build upon the story's. That could be something special.

Outside the comics the DCAU is probably my favourite. All the shows were bangers.

Shazam’s death is the still one of saddest deaths in the DCAMU, he was only a kid but still in the end sacrificed himself, that’s why he is worthy 😢

I'm sorry but the DCAU will forever be untouched. Til this DAY you can immediately tell that those were TRUE heroes. Every eps taught you a valuable lesson and they felt so real and relatable for a cartoon.

The DCAU was so good. They could have kept that going forever. It had unlimited potential stories.

It's pretty much just called the "New 52" movies, as they were based on a comic ser of the same name

Also, Young Justice is my favorite DC Universe.

The DCAMU gave us one of the best characters ever, John Constantine. Matt Ryan was literally made for that role, so much so that they cast him as the live action version in the Arrowverse.

What's your overall opinion on the Arrowverse though?

I agree they should’ve went with that mapped out animation War Verse. It’s way more in line dramatic, action packed and well told.

hey doomblazer!, i think i have a theory on how The Flash resets the dceu universe. if we remember back to the beginning of the film when ezra’s barry traveled back in time and ended up in the keaton/sasha calle verse. he might’ve left the dceu as is UNTIL later on towards the end of the film when the 3 barry’s are messing with the multiverse maybe their actions cause ripple effects throughout the multiverse and in doing so effect the dceu and change it into the dcu. if this theory is true that allows them to recast ezra miller as the flash (because he is in the clooney verse) and also keep jason moama as aquaman in the clooney verse so he can play both lobo and aquaman like peter safran and jason been teasing. it would of course also allow some characters like peacemaker, suicide squad, waller, etc to be canon.

You should rank every DC Universe there is, both in live-action and animation.

I agree they should have made live action movies based on the animated movies and it would have given blockbuster results.

I think if they make the origin stories of each member of the JL in a DCAMU style and made series for characters like John Constantine, Martian Manhunter, The Atom. It will work quite good

DCAMU is definitely the best shared universe, a bunch of those movies were amazing. The conclusion was flawless as well, Justice League Dark Apokolips War was a masterpiece.

I'm still very okay with The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker being a part of the new DCU. Remember that some alternate universes share some similarities with others. It's not that hard to imagine that The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker didn't happen in the DCEU. But did in the DCU. And face it, those characters are too good to waste.

I think a mix of the animated series, Justice league, and unlimited, plus young Justice for the live action. Universe is perfect.

In my opinion if I was too reboot the DC Universe I’d make it entirely animated with the art style from Spider-Man Into & Across the Spiderverse. I mean it would be so cool

Ranking all DCAMU Movies

I think if James Gunn just brings over the actually good DCEU films that stand on their own without being too connected to the universe over to the DCU, then that'd work. Films like: Wonder Woman 1: Is set back in WWI and aside from the opening with Diana receiving that photo from Bruce Wayne (which can easily be retconned with a new Batman), it is it's own thing. Aquaman 1&2: Aside from the 1 line of Arthur and Mira meeting back during Stephen Wolf's attack, both films are there own thing and could (nearly) seamlessly fit into the new universe. The Suicide Squad: Perfectly separated from the DCEU.

"Ended beautifully" getting ptsd of heroes dying. 💀 Overall it's still one of my fav animation movie tho.

DCAU for me They got it right again and again and again simply by staying true to the characters.

Fun fact : actually the original dceu justice league trilogy was going to plan out just like the justice league dark apokolips , the animated movie was actually inspired by the scrapped out idea from dceu justice league. Had the justice league movie not been a mess, we could have actually got to see a live action version of the justice league dark apokolips

DCAU is the one and only, franchises that where strong enough to stand solo and then collab to make something great. Roll call, BAT MAN TAS, SUPER MAN TAS, STATIC SHOCK, BAT MAN BEYOND and The Zeta Project, which got cancelled because the network did not want any violence/fighting in the show.

The apocalypse movie was crazy

The DCAU is a masterpiece and the perfect universe, it destroys the others. It had characters you cared about and actually acted like real people with real problems, it had mature stories and arcs. The writing and voice acting was just top notch It also has imo the best moment in DC’s history, that being Batman comforting Ace in her final moments

I think the Young Justice universe deserves a shout out too, such a cool take on the universe that will hopefully get to conclude one day. Also, this is mad headcannon and definitely not true, but I will forever believe that Teen Titans is a sequel to the 04 The Batman show

Remember the fun times with the DCEU though like Batman vs Superman and man of steel wonder woman and suicide squad but the problem was they never connected it
