What an interesting concept! I feel like this fits into the retro theme of gen z, as faux authenticity seemed to be a thing in the late 90s, eventually paving the way for nu metal and JNCOs. On that note, any chance you have interest in doing a video on JNCOs sometime? I'd love to hear your take on the rise, fall, and overall cultural significance of them. I feel like JNCOs and Surge soda were sort of a pair, so Surge might show up by proxy, too. In response to your question at the end, I'm not sure if this is on the same level as a "pause" or "shake", but I remember that millennials went through a whole phase of saying "awkwaaaaaard" and "that's what she said" at virtually every opportunity during their tween years. Maybe those are more like pre-Internet memes? IDK, anyway, thanks for another great video :-)

Hey, love your channel. I spend lots or time reading about generations and your channel is right up my alley. The nuances, quirks, mindsets are all interesting to me. Have you considered doing a video on the generations spiritually/morals progressions over time? I've noticed a trend between great technological advances and cynicism in religion and then an eventually return to religion when the novelty of great adcances where off. I've noticed some trends in how the generations' religious lives take some different but similar paths. That might be a tough video to do, but maybe you can just take a point or two and develop it? The generations' fascination with certain hobbies and music are interesting to me too. I'm 23 with a pretty big family and very strong genes (everyone sort of acts the same, has the same beliefs) so it's fun to see the generational impact on them all.
