Fun fact. Applying henna paste as onto nails strengthens nails. Doing so is recommended for women by prophet Muhuhummed SAW.

I'm tuning in to see if somebody will explain why elderly, religious Palestinian men dye their beards with henna. When I lived overseas for a few years, I saw this half a dozen times but was too bashful to ask them.

1. Is henna a religious practice? Is it only affiliated with Muslims? In this part of the world I live in, only Muslims have henna on 2. Does it only have to be during an event or occasion that one has to have on? Is it inappropriate to casually have it on without no occasion or celebration?

Henna is not religious but a social practice. It's not only affiliated with Muslims. I've done henna for every religious group as well even Christians. It just depends on how they use henna socially primarily. I believe in my opinion, henna is for all occasions and even just because. When you want to feel pretty, happy and love art, you can do henna. There are no limitations. When it comes to each person's culture it may vary though. Just depends on them. Some people might disagree with me and say it's only for certain times or events or holidays but that's their own opinion. Everyone can decide at the end of the day what works for them. Henna doesn't belong to anyone or any one culture. It grows in so many areas that it's cross cultural. Henna is something that should bring all people together.

@cococock2418 Thank you, for asking about Islam ☺️. I tried sharing a Hadith on here, literally the Prophet of Islam peace be upon him saying henna isn't an option but a MUST for Muslim women. On nails, for everyday and on palms for her wedding. For guys, on their hair and beards. Google it. Females can use it on their hair too. But youtube keeps deleting my comment 🙄. Your comment isn't valid, just like your spelling for the word "sweetie" isn't valid. You spelt it as "sweaty." 🤦🏽‍♀️😂. "Henna isn't for Muslims, sweaty, its Haram". Henna is definitely for Muslims/everyone.. But 📖 Education, and deodorant is for YOU "sweaty". 👏 😹 👏
