Something that really scares me is how willing we are to use metaverse created by someone who is completely opposed to God and everything He stands for. Using a world created by a group of people opposed to God and the world He created, and getting you to leave God's world for theirs, means we will be exposed to their beliefs and encouraged in them. The question really is would Jesus want you to sit at the table with them and support them, setting an example and sending a message to the world for example " oh Jenny and her church are Christians and they use metaverse, they are a cool church" ? We are so used to having FB in our daily lives that we would never even consider not having it, we like it too much, it's how we communicate. Everything in the world is corrupted by sin,and people infected with sin will not be able to handle it sinlessly, it is an idol making machine, it will be a monster that people wont realise is a monster until the damage is done. When we sit at a table with people involved in the demonic, and say "this is just how we socialize so it's okay, it's super fun!" we are playing into the hands of the enemy and their planned agenda and make no mistake, keeping us home and buying their products with a screen strapped to our face to a world they created is exactly what the enemy wants. Spending our time in a alternate world rather than being with people and concentrating on the Lord is not what believers need at all, but I fully expect people in the church to use it in droves. It's a real shame. Think of the amount of believers who already struggle with pornography or adultery, having access to a 3D world of the internet where anything is possible in the privacy of their own homes. Pornography viewing has risen astronomically since covid, especially child pornography. FB has already shown itself to not care about protecting children and in the latest case of the sexual abuse of a 13 year old boy whose images were uploaded to FB would not remove them despite the plea of the boys mother saying these images did not violate fb policies. Let that sink in and put that together with metaverse. Now think of all the temptations,sins and mental issues Christians already struggle with, throw them in a Godless world where everything is possible, we're self worship and self love and good feelings are encouraged instead of spending time praying and reading the Word, growing in holiness, and being with other believers. People will only get further from God and holiness. Imagine what this will do to pre teens and teens. Imagine this in the hands of the NAR movement, who permeates the church more than the true church permeates the world 😳 Metaverse offers them everything they want and love so we can count on them using it. I would really advise everyone to do their research about who the people who made and endorse this are , their beliefs, and values, before you yourself and your kids open up to it (at this level of your conscious will and desires) and think, is this something Jesus would tell me to use? It's true Jesus is on the Throne but is He on the throne in our hearts as well? Because Jesus also let's us choose not to sin by walking with the Spirit. We should know not to attend a satanic party when someone invites us, where we would have a good chance of seeing Zuckerberg by the way, but what happens when you choose not to walk with the Spirit and with the world? We shall soon see.
