I actually stayed at the Chateau Moncton Hotel in April 2014 with my parents when we went to Moncton for Easter of that year. The main purpose of the trip was to go to the Crystal Palace indoor amusement park, which closed 5 months after our trip and Bass Pro Shops is now in its place. I remember that we stayed on the side of the Chateau Moncton that faces the Atlantic Superstore across the street, and since I was only 7 years old at the time, I never knew what a tidal bore was, and I didn’t know that they even happened on the Petitcodiac River next to the hotel.
