If you are photographing using a skylight as an ambient key light with clouds causing viable lighting exposures should the strobe used as a fill be set at manual or TTL?

Hi Jeff - how does TTL work with say spot metering? If you place your spot on the models face, would expect the expose to stay the same and not vary too much as it’s not metering the whole scene?

The video says it meters for the entire image, not a specific point - i.e. spot metering

Viva Habbit Van Assen there’s no rules, check out my other lighting videos for distances of each light for reference however.
