Absolutely delightful to listen to Swami Sarvapriyananda as he expounds on the concept of Brahman, the Vedantic God. There is no better explanation of Brahman, in my view, than this short talk. This is the essence of God that will remain in the minds and hearts of all those seekers who want to know more about God. Thank you, Swamiji. I am grateful.
Pranaam Swamiji. You have been my guru for the past four years virtually or in person, for introducing me to Vedanta and its teachings and yes, God in the vedantic understanding. Thank you for all your blessings.
Its true..TRULY..i experienced it myself several different occasions accidentally..i saw and experienced the background consciousness of everything and something also beyond it. It was like all the actors and dramas of a TV were seperate but still the same TV screen..i know now that it is all in my/the mind..it was the Self..it introduced itself to me and stopped my mind in its track dumbstruck..i still am astounded after it happened 25 years ago that have gone by in a flash..oh my God now everyday i try to experience it again but i have no training..somehow while snorkeling and holding my breath it all started..i think maybe my listening to the sound of my breathing in water did something..advice PLEASE..but i know now..its amazing magic
I have been addicted to your talks SWAMIJI.SO CLEAR & LUCID EXPLANATION OF SUCH COMPLICATED ISSUES.I DON'T KNOW HOW TO EXPRESS MY GRATITUDE JUST AS I DON'T REALISE HOW TO GET INTO THE DEPTH OF YOUR TEACHINGS. LISTENING TO YOUR TALK FOR SOME TIME AT LEAST BEFORE GOING TO BED HAS BEEN A ROUTINE EXERVISE FOR ME DURING LAST TWO MONTHS OR SO. THANKS & PRANAM TO YOU SWAMIJI.
Swamiji, you are my walking partner. So simply you explain this grave concepts of vedas and upanishads with your unique sense of humour. Also the few lines you speak in Bangla and Hindi, connects me to you as I was born a Bengali and now a yoga teacher, exploring spirituality. Thank you for being there for us.
Can anyone point to the source sloka that swamiji referred in this lecture “brihatva bhinghanatva tadaatma Brahma iti eeyate”? I tried googling and couldn’t find any references.
Namaste Swamiji 🙏🌻 thank you for all your amazing and enlightening talks. I am so thankful for them. I look forward to listening everyday. They are a wonderful light in my life. I have a request….May I please have a link to the whole talk where this part comes from? I would like to listen to the whole talk. I am most appreciative and I thank you in advance 🙏🙏
Respected Swami, Understanding any lecture in english is difficult for me. But why your lecture in english is like I am listening you in my mother tung Hindi?🤔 And I 💓 to👂U .
Therefore the ultimate truth is Brahman the one the vast omnipresent all pervading and everything infinite non similar is a dramatic manifestations of Brahman. Yes there is no scape one has to accept it. Thanks swamiji
Could you please guide where can we listen to Swamiji's full talk on this. Would like to earnestly listen to his teachings/comments on Satyam and Gyanam. Thank you for your help in advance. Your help will be highly appreciated. Thank you again. 🙏
Do you have the other talks which swamiji said in this video he will give in August and September? Mentioned by swamiji in the video?... If yes then please I request you to upload that too..
GOD defined and understood in terms of words but find that my mind not capable of comprehending it as it does not seem to be able to visualize or sense it. If my mind is not capable of comprehending it then how or with or through what do "I" know it?
At the absence of ignorance, the Brahman which is always present in you will reveal itself. We remove ignorance by gaining the knowledge of self. This unique knowledge of self comes when we sincerely seek it with devotion, meditation and selfless service.
@@oneomself Wrong, that is the core issue pretty much everyone now gets wrong. Limitlessness cannot enter if limits are present in the mind. Invite anyhitng you want, still you wont have knowledge of Self, that has to wait for the whole mind to be completely empty of any thought. Knowledge of Self is not possible atm, experience of Self is possible. The key here is letting go/ forgiveness / renunciation. What is there to renunciate? Anything that your mind values. Why? Because you cannot value the Self while your mind holds on to limits. All values your mind have atm are limited. In our position, and empty mind is in a far more advantageous position that a mind that chooses to hold on to anything.
With due respect to Swami Sarvapriyanantha, the file was unzipped in laymen's language 1,400 years ago in Quran. In Chapter 59 Verses 22 to 24 He is Allāh, other than whom there is no deity, Knower of the unseen and the witnessed. He is the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful He is Allāh, other than whom there is no deity, the Sovereign, the Pure, the Perfection, the Grantor of Security, the Overseer, the Exalted in Might, the Compeller, the Superior. Exalted is Allāh above whatever they associate with Him He is Allāh, the Creator, the Producer, the Fashioner; to Him belong the best names.Whatever is in the heavens and earth is exalting Him. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise For these Names or Attributes In Chapter 18 Verse 109 Say, "If the sea were ink for [writing] the words of my Lord, the sea would be exhausted before the words of my Lord were exhausted, even if We brought the like of it in [continual] supplement
Just believing and understanding this concept can relieve our sufferings of daily life? It will take a lifetime to let such a belief sink in our life and behave accordingly. Then what is the role of God and what is faith ? confusing!
Swamiji by his dramatic talking trying to present to audience new wine in old bottle. This is a standard text in 2nd chapter, 1st para of Taitiriya Upanishad, which simply means Bramhan is truth, knowledge and infinite. He who knows enjoys all pleasures as learned men enjoy pleasure in form of Bramhan only. Now, go on talking on it left and right , to an audience who have either not read the book at all or too polite to raise question. This is really unfortunate.
