Gabriel Sandoval ahh, that’s okay. No, that’s not my native language, but French is Romance language (like Spanish, Italian, Portuguese or Romanian), so that’s why I wanted to mention it here. 😊

That’s exactly it, Gabriel! 😌 sounds very much like Italian and Portuguese, and has a lot of things borrowed from French 😁 (native Romanian)

Hello Bob! I see your Romanian level is quite advanced, and as a Romanian it makes me very happy! I write this 3 years later so it might be irrelevant by now, but I'd like to help clarify a nuance. In Romanian, when you say "m-" it means smt or smb did smt to you. So if you say "Filmul m-a plăcut" it means "The movie liked me". To express your opinion abt smt or smb you would use "mi-". So "Filmul ăsta mi-a plăcut foarte mult", and when there's no "ăsta" a more natural word order would be "Mi-a placut filmul"/"Mi-a placut foarte mult filmul"/"Mi-a placut filmul foarte mult". I was utterly impressed with the rest of the sentence! I hope I helped a little!

yep romanian is a language based on latin, but it was hugely influenced by slavic languages, plus turkish and hungarian

Is it difficult to be vegan in Romania ? I learnt that romanian people really liked meat at the point that people find it impossible to be vegan

@@alderaan1931 yes, it's pretty hard. You've to ask for meagre food (hard to come by if you don't cook it yourself) if you cannot find vegan food.
