Im disappointed on the lack of views and comments on this video. This channel has a good number of viewers and I'm surprised nobody is talking on this. Asexuality is very real. I crave love and relationship and someone to cuddle. But once i say I'm asexual the guys BOLT like i have a disease. Its very sad and discouraging. Hopefully someday someone will love me for me and be okay with not having a physical relationship. cause Im not a fan. everyone else, have a wonderful day.

I wish you the best of luck and I truly hope that you find someone who will accept you for who you are. I came across this video by chance and I genuinely thought I'd spend the rest of my life being single. I now have hope :)

This is very true. It’s something that most people cannot even wrap their brains around let alone accept. I’ve been called a liar. Been bullied, guilted, shamed, & pressured into situations that I didn’t feel atall comfortable in. Our culture in USA is overloaded with sex. I believe our #1 export is porn which would be a very telling point to anyone about our society and values. I’m glad I found this channel bc up till now I’ve not been able to meet any like minded folks.

I've had so much depression and anxiety during my previous relationships. I had no idea I was asexual and I just didn't understand why sex is so important in a relationship. Thankfully I know now that I'm asexual.

I wish there were UK groups. Mates usually think I'm joking when I've told them. I just genuinely don't enjoy sex and I prefer the romantic side to relationships. I'm not a virgin and I even have 3 beautiful children however during my previous relationship it was always hard work or a battle to force myself to have sex. I presumed I'd be on my own for the rest of my life until I accidentally came across this video. I now have hope that there is someone out there who is like me :) thank you

I'm asexual and I've been with my boyfriend with 4 years. He is not asexual but very supportive. He loves me for me, not for sex. We do have sex occasionally, or I will please him. We have plans to get married and have children in the future.

Thank you so much for sharing this ❤️ I’m now subscribed. It’s become very difficult for me bc I do feel unsafe when the topic comes up-I want to run when they say oh I can change that you haven’t been with me. The gravity of all the social pressure has made me opt out of relationships entirely bc I haven’t found a single one where they’re accepting of my boundaries.

Thanks a lot for this video! I'm always trying to understand someone else's life and how they experience it. This was incredibly informational and I'm gaining more understanding on asexuality

i dont really enjoy sex because i never orgasm during sex with a partner. if i tell the truth about it, i feel like i am broken and that i'm disappointing my partner. if i lie about it, i hate myself for lying and get annoyed of what is expected of me. early in the relationship, i'll enjoy sex because it is exciting to sleep with a new person but it quickly fades out to becoming a monotonous nuisance. because of this, i've often wondered if i could be happy in an asexual relationship where sex is not even on the table. i wonder if i would miss it or if i would feel unattractive if my partner is not sexually attracted to me.

a lot of women don't come when with their partners, so discovering your own body and what you enjoy can help.whatever you are going its OK and its normal. just do what you feel comfortable with.

That wasn't a question and I don't know your gender but I'm going to assume female/ vagina having person. It's actually really common that women don't orgasm with PIV intercourse. There needs to be other stimulation like with the clit or nipples. Even then that might not work with a partner so you should find what works for yourself and then tell your partner what you like. If you've tried many masturbation techniques, toys, etc and still can't orgasm, hit up a sex doctor. Qualified sexologists btw, not just anyone calling themselves a sex doctor. Asexuality isn't as simple as someone not being sexually attracted to others so there will be no sex whatsoever. There are workarounds. Some asexuals don't want sex at all, some still masturbate, are willing to use toys on their partners or do sexual things, others will have sex on occasion etc. so it depends

I had a similar experience albeit as someone AMAB who later figured out she was trans female. It wasn't until I went on hormones and my libido decreased from "occasional" to "almost never" that I realized I really fit with the asexual spectrum. I just chose not to have sex for 10 years at one point and everyone told me I'm crazy, then I tried again with partners, then I killed my sex drive with estrogen. It's not that I can't now, it's that I'd really rather not. I've been on hormones for 15 months, so who knows... Sex was never as satisfying to me as others acted like it was for them. Also far less frequent, and everyone acted like that should upset me in some way. At a certain point like 15 years ago I made the conscious decision to say no from now on to sex, without even knowing what asexuality was, and didn't break that for 10 years. About to do that again...

Being asexual is awesome. So many women are killed in intimate partner violence as well as hookups. Asexuallity is life and peace in my eyes. Surrender your will to the word of God so that you can find wisdom. Jesus Christ is wisdom, serve him to find wisdom because so many perish

Am I the only asexual here that's also bisexual and sex is completely off the table? I also feel like I prefer women more and I would only date certain types of men 🤔

In my opinion, asexuals overlap with LGBTQ+, and should have solidarity with them. There are some asexuals who definitely fit within the community, and some who do not. For example, I am slightly less masculine hetero-romantic gray-asexual male. So I can easily pass for a straight guy, and don't get oppressed for that reason. Other people can be for example panromantic demisexual, who is actually in a relationship with someone of their same sex. So it is about oppression and resistance to that oppression as a community.

I withdrew myself from the dating world when I found out that I was asexual. Sex won't happen so it is not good to lead anyone on. I also think men have enough options and therefore asexual women can be free. I will never be with a man again cause I have to get my life right with Jesus Christ. Jesus will return soon and I cannot stress enough how much we need holiness and purity of mind and body. Nothing tastes as good as single feels.

WHY DO WE LABEL EVERYTHING NOW
@Katiec6597
@Katiec6597 7 лет назад
I AM ASEXUAL. I WANT THIS LABEL. I FEEL I HAVE A COMMUNITY WITH IT AND PEOPLE TO TALK TO WHO FEEL AS I DO. that is why we label. to form communities for those to connect with one another who feel the same as those in that community. hopefully you understand and accept it.
@wolfferoni
@wolfferoni 7 лет назад
For a sense of community and belonging. To easily find others similar to yourself. So you can easily tell someone about you in one word vs sentences and paragraphs.
@hughjasse4047
@hughjasse4047 7 лет назад
So I can march in the streets carrying a sign and protest for the rights of my (insert label) group. Liberals just aren't happy unless they can complain about being victimized.
@karriallen265
@karriallen265 7 лет назад
I feel labels just further divide society. I think they are used more to identify those different then you then to help you identify those who are the same. We spend so much time pointing out our differences instead of our similarities. It's no wonder there's so much tension in America today.
@morgandailey8721

This label isn't new at all. Humans label everything. Its great to have a community that relate.

I think it’s ridiculous to come out for every different thing these days, who you have sex with doesn’t define you as a person, we are much more than that.
@messywardrobe1056
@messywardrobe1056 6 лет назад
Kolleen Maxwell Very true! However, the only reason people talk about this more now, is merely because if, let's say, I get to talk about this with someone I'm attracted to, he will say that I'm making it up or whatever else. Raising a BIT of awareness helps us not feel invalidated or like there's something wrong with us. It took me decades to realise what I am when it comes to asexuality, I thought I was broken and felt depressed. Then I saw that...there are others out there...like ME!!! Saying things I felt all my life. It is life-saving, SANITY-saving to see you are not alone. I know it's hard to understand what it feels like but it is an actual thing. I love and feel extreme need to care for another person, cuddle them, kiss them...but I don't feel lust. I have tried, even thought about taking testosterone to help me feel lust but I would be going against my nature. I feel nothing looking at a man's genitals. I appreciate the form of his body, but have no desire to hump...does that make sense? Probably not and it's fine. To me, it's bizarre when people act like horny dogs, I cannot relate but realize it is a natural thing also. Anyway, just wanted to make it a bit clearer, hope you have a lovely day.
