I really loved this, and I’m so glad it came up in my recommended. For me, having a traditional marriage is important because I grew up in a very broken family. We have a 7 month old baby girl and I want her to have the childhood that I needed. The structure, the guidance, seeing her mom and dad work as a team and also loving each other. It’s for her, but it’s for me too. I am now creating the life that I always needed. I’m also glad that this video wasn’t fueled by religion, not to say you aren’t religious- but I am not, and most videos like this are very Christian leaning, so it makes it hard for me to relate.

I am not religious, but have strong values in the core meaning of a family life so I agree I end up seeing content I want to relate to but cannot because it's so religion driven.

I love that with all of the points you made, you came back to talking about what you want and what works for you and your family. The reason a lot of these things are judged is because they used to be used to control women and make them do things they didnt enjoy or were exploitative, so i fully understand why so many people dislike or judge them now. But i think choosing these things intentionally with love and respect from both sides of a marriage is totally fine and wonderful if thats what makes you happy! Marriage is a partnership and what you choose to do within that is your business
