MISA SENSEI, this style of teaching is actually SO GOOD. We can learn Japanese VOCABULARY, SENTENCE PATTERNS or EXPRESSIONS in context (based on the topic you're talking about), so it is a lot easier and more fun as well to learn them this way. Like instead of making a video on a certain grammar point, how about talking about something intriguing or interesting about Japan or anything relevant and then you can incorporate RELEVANT VOCABULARY, SENTENCE PATTERNS and EXPRESSIONS into it. It would be a great fun way to learn.😊👍

I like a mix of these videos, honestly. The grammar videos are really interesting from a linguistics point of view, but various cultures have always fascinated me as well, so both are good! As far as the type of women I like...honestly anyone who is fun to talk to, comfortable about being themselves, and likes to geek out about similar things that I like (comics/video games/art/ cooking etc.) is great. As far as appearance goes I like so many different things that I don't really have a "type" per se, though I agree that cleanliness is important.

"Something to talk too" SAME! It's quite a turn down trying to get into a conversation with a girl that is not quite able to talk about what she likes (to do, also). And this comes from a shy nerd guy. There's not so many opportunities to flex or practice my social skills and then bumping into someone difficult to speak with? Though I'm quite vocal about developing social skills and compassion, makes you a better listener an even when you get into a discussion you can ride them better. And so much useful in your workplace/with your clients!

I've also noticed that it's important to have humility in Japan. I feel like Americans are trained to be subtle self promoters while Japanese people are more naturally humble and differential. I could see it being a turn off in an American guy were a little too self promoting. For example, when given a compliment in English, it's common to say "thank you" and acknowledge the compliment. In Japanese, it seems more common to say something along the lines if "えややや" or "no, no, no" - meaning that the recipient of the compliment is not worthy of praise.

With all due respect, it seems like they don't look for any of them according to demographic stats, and that it's mutual. Sorry to be rube. If there is a better way to say unpleasant things, i wish i knew it. Seems like anytime you learn little girl how to read and then demand young women to choose between a family and a career, the demography crumbles. It happens in Germany, Italy, Japan and a list of developed countries with a cultural intolerance to working mothers and no family policy. I like Japanese culture a lot, with anime and food mainly, and it makes me sad to think that it could be mostly gone in 50 years because a culture cannot survive the people who has it, nor can a language. Thanks for your work and your videos.

This is a great video! I would like to have a video where you talk more about yourself and things and experiences that you have had in your past, like important life events.
