Dj K-Oz mhh... being a constructer at a building site is much more dangerous than being a manager, yet the manager gets paid at least 4 times more ...( i don‘t think payment has anything to do with the danger of your work) also woman often aren‘t even accepted as constructers for example they get eliminated even before they send their papers for application.

I have studied abroad in KOREA. There is definitely pressure for guys to pay for the first date and generally going forward. Girls tend to pick up smaller items like a coffee or something, but guys take a bigger financial hit over all. Notice that most of these interviews were students, so saying guys make more is mute at this age category. Both the guys and girls interviewed are at the broke college student level. Yes there are some girls who will go dutch or split on bills, but to say that they are the norm is a total mischaracterization. I can see why young college guys think girls are mooching because in some cases they really are. It’s not so uncommon.

@@loveflying4488 here's the thing if you're asking someone for their time (a full date can be 3+ hours and men are usually the ones who pursue women) the LEAST you can do is pay for the date. If you're concerned about how much you'll be spending you're most likely not too creative or interesting (and probably not too aesthetically pleasing either), so why would someone be paying to fulfill YOUR requests/desires when you're bringing nothing to the table? That's just not smart. Moral of the story, don't ask someone out if you can't afford to date. There's nothing wrong with being single anyway (especially when you're young).

Right now, we need to focus on equality first, and fixing society will come soon. Things as small as men being expected to pay for the date and women being looked down on in certain professions and things as big as the inequality in the Korean conscription system that only requires service from men, and the expectation of women having children, making female workers seem less valuable to employees, even as women say they don’t want children.

Nothing towards you, but I don't get that logic. Instead of segregating men from women, why don't they do anything to the suspects? Like place them in a jail? I really hate copying my comment, but because you talk about the same thing, here is my argument: or because males problem is much much less discussed and pointed out in society, social media, news, tv show, drama or even youtube. This current feminist movement always point fingers at the top of the barrel (rich people, office jobs, top government officials) which consist of a very very small amount of males compared to the whole male population, but when is the last time the bottom of the barrel become the hot topic? from the two times suicide rate (especially determined suicide instead of demonstration/attention seeking suicide, and guess which suicide talked more, the whole population of male suicides or the very small number of female celebrity suicide?), deadly jobs (work-related death, in the US it's 93%), homelessness, prison inmates, lose child custody, portrayed as 'morons' in media, over represented in 'undesirable careers' (such as brick masons, garbage collector, cellphone tower climbers, morticians, port a potty cleaner, etc, and every single one of those jobs hold more males than 'rich people' and 'top government officals'). And this 'dominating the bottom of the barrel' is true throughout history, yes, even before any existence of feminist movement. Females have much much much more access to 'females problem' because the view lens is always 'society is inherently sexist towards woman', from everyday life, social media, news, tv show, drama, youtube, etc, thus they much more easily parrot what they see in the media instead of questioning 'it is true that the majority or even almost ALL sexism are towards woman?'. Women in this video are not showing a deeper 'understanding' of the issue. First of all where are your sources on that? If you don’t deem housework, child bearing and child raising as ‘real work,’ you’re a part of the problem. Its because they have better access to higher paying jobs esp in STEM fields in which a lot of women in non-western countries are discouraged from joining. Before modern technology, women had to stay at home to take care of the shores while men had to work outside to bring money. It wasn't a choice, the society had to work this way and both genders had advantages and disadvantages. But now, women can work and be independant, like men, but they still want men to keep the same responsabilities. The whole equilibrium is broken. Women still expect men to keep their role of bread winners and protectors. They still want men to invite them, be gallant and pay for everything. But they also want to earn the same and refuse to share the same duties (military service, difficult and dangerous jobs). Also, after a divorce, they want the law to be in their favor. They want equality of a modern society but they also want to keep the benefits of the old traditionnal/patriarcal system. You see the hypocrisy ? Also, most women (if not all) only date men who make more money than them. It's a fact. So, if women earn the same as men, you see the problem : all men who don't make more money than women are out of the dating market. That's almost 50% of the male population (in theory). And what happens is that the rich men have an abundance of women ; so much that they don't feel the need to settle with a single one. This situation is horrible for both the male and female population. And this how you end up with a gender war. The men think that the women have it much better than them and the women wondering where are all the good men gone ? (good men = men who earn more than them, of course).

We don't do the same work all the time, but even in instances where we do the same work at the same promotion level, we still get paid less. This has been well-documented. A warehouse involves lots of manual labor, doesn't it? That's the only type of work I can think of where men would always outperform women.

Saying "wage gap" as if it's a real thing. If you can pay a woman less who has the same experience and qualifications as a man, why bother hiring men? Why not just hire a woman for cheaper? I can see why you think that, but you are missing the point of why these guys brought these issues up. They are pinpointing where some feelings of resentment comes from-and they have valid points. There are certain advantages women do receive and there are certain advantages men receive in life.
