We bring you the most authentic news from all over Asia, featuring real people's voices and stories.
Our mission is to bridge social and cultural gaps between Asia and the rest of the world to prevent World War III.
Although we're still a small media startup, thanks to our mission and our community, we've already become the biggest street interview-based channel on RU-vid. But we still have a long way to go. Together, we can grow this into the biggest news channel in the world, so please subscribe to challenge the divisive mainstream media narrative.
In the process, we hope to empower you, a member of our global Asian Boss community, to stay curious, think critically, and take action to bring cultures and the world closer together.
China is so big, the difference between regions is just as big as EU. So There's no words could be used to define China generally. For example, the whole country could be divided into 7 parts: Han, Tibet, Mongol, Uyghur, Manchu, Kradai. Then you could divide Han into north, southwest, southeast. And you could divide southeast into Wu, Min, Cantonese, Hakka, Gan, Xiang. And you could divide Min into northern Min, eastern Min, southern Min(Banlangu).
Haha the 2 guys thinking it’s easy to get guns illegally in the Philippines cracks me up. Of course you can get guns if you have money and connections, just like any illegal item. Doing it legally takes a lot of time, effort and the costs for firearms relative to average income is too expensive. You would also have to renew your license (and iirc have to account for each firearm purchase during licensing) every 4 years. It’s really a prohibitive purchase when one firearm can buy a month’s worth of food for a family.
Not even remotely offended but the last guy calling India extremely sexist sure is something… like sure there is a gender gap but at least we haven’t completely given up on the concept of marriage bc of men’s toxicity😂😂😂 But on a non sarcastic note he was the only one who was honest and didn’t sugarcoat anything and I respect and agree with him (not completely on the sexist point but good stuff 😂)
Filipinos, by far, have strong family bonds, unlike in the US where broken families are common. Not much parenting supervision, which led to mental condition of low regards to personal or other peoples lives.
I have been to many countries on business that have nothing to do with democracy. I asked citizens similar questions and I always heard that "we have real democracy here."
Swastika used to mean totally something different but Germans decided to use that symbol and ruin it for the rest of us… shame that. It was a good symbol related to nature/belief and after they took it now people see it as bad… I bet was done ok purpose 🤷♂️
To be fair (and I'm dutch, not singaporean) I don't like seeing people tongue kiss in public regardless if they are straight or gay. It is true though that just the thought of 2 men being in a relationship gets more backlash than 2 women. I have never fully understood this.
its cuz the US has a big gang problem due to socioeconomically issues and lack of a father figure doesn't really help, which most other countries simply dont have. their plenty of other mental health issues also. plus, the US has a whole lot more selfish people than other countries. its not just one problem causing the issue, its multiple things combined causing it. it also doesn't help that the government inflate the statistics either.
To my korean classmate in elementary (I'm Filipino), I'm sorry that I bullied you by joining the ones that ridiculed you. I thought that if I joined it would make me cool. I also thought that it was just for laughs, but I never considered your feelings. Even if you're a boy, bullying has no exeption. It took me more than a decade to realize this. So, yes, I was a horrible person. If I could go back to those days, maybe I could've been better and not leave you a horrible memory here in the Philippines.
UK unless you have a very good reason ie. Sports shooter you can't have a gun very few Brits own firearms so we don't have that culture, our police are not armed (but we have firearms officers) their use is strictly controlled. Illegal firearms are owned by criminals, and definitely not by security guards in malls etc
Same stories everywhere. After 14 years with my partner, I took my parents abroad together with my partner. My parents like and appreciate him because he took great care of them, but they still expect me to marry a woman even though they probably know we're together. I'm already 53yo.
Honestly, ESL teachers aren’t very qualified, mostly they take 3 month long online course, pretty much anyone can pass; mostly they are looking to have some fun abroad while they are young and have a bit of cash to cover their basic expenses; I know quite a few native English speakers with strong passports doing this just because they didn’t know what to do after graduating from school etc and often you don’t even need to take any course just being a native speaker is enough even if you are a crap teacher so nothing to complain about, you can even call it a privilege although I hate this word
I understand both sides, but allow me to give my Point of view as someone non related to asians or the middle east: Yes, geographically Indians(Bharatians) are Asians bc they are in the Asian continent. Buuuut even though I am not an expert in cultures, I can see too much similarity with the middle east, and never seen an Asian culture that is even similar to indian culture. I understand this all depends on which side of Bharat(India) we're talking about, but we cannot deny the influence they had from Islamic culture and our popular understanding of what Most of the world recognizes as Indian. Acting like they are too wrong is a bit inconsiderate and shows a lack of self awareness in the world. Basically denying another culture influenced the country. And I also think the location of the country doesn't determine its culture. Recognized middle-eastern-ish culture.
The Philippines are 142 in guns per capita... which is low Mass "shootings" are low but it ranks high in Mass "killings" Talk about cherry picking stats to make a country look good.... Should call you channel Asian bias.
I never realized how expressive tagalog is. and they seems to have some kind of intonation going on as well especially with the first girl. it is so cool to know and hear
Personal experience here: the English kindergarden question in the video and in the comment section made realise that there's probably of a lot of parents paying extremely expensive English classes for their children. If you, who is reading this, do that, I would advice you to stop. Language isn't something you can learn but having a really good teacher and buying a bunch of books. English is my second language and I can assure you no teacher taught me English. Languages is something you need to pratice, immerse yourself into, and have someone to pratice with. These goes for any language. Maybe no one will see this or even disagree, but if you genuinely want to learn a language: find a native speaker of your desired language or a friend to also learn the language and practice with them, the rest is somewhere for free on apps like Doulingo or Babbel.
