nah he was right expected goals aren't the same as goals scored because people can scuff easy shots or hit worldies but on average a shot has a chance of being a goal so that's what expected goals is. If you're lucky or just better than usual you can do better or worse. xG is like half tactics, because a better setup will stop more shots and make better ones themselves, and half player skill because players making errors or not sticking to the system contribute to people being able to shoot. Any difference then between xg and goals is excellent player skill or mistakes, and luck. Basically it was a fancy way of blaming his players for the L and claimed his tactical system would have won it if he wasn't unlucky.
Miguel I used to watch every video. Usually you know it’s an Irish guy video if it’s 10 mins or more, I was mistaken the last video. I took it off right away and said nope
Ernesto Valverde: "I never give much importance to the physical preparation. Really, as there are so many games, you prepare as you go along" is one of the most braindead things a manager has ever said. he got critizised and just weeks later before our CL game vs Inter he said "physical preparation is very important"
I’m still signing tim sherwoods name, man revived villa and gave Jack his chance, if he was allowed to stay on we would never have been relegated, not saying he’s a top coach but he was what we needed, breathed life into the club.
Graham Westley at PNEFC “I’m a serial winner, my kids call me medal winner” He lasted 13 months and was sacked after almost getting us relegated to league 2.
@@NikhilVasishtR I have only ever heard one funny thing on that show ever. Sometimes, I think the brilliance of the people who made that show was that if you make a stupid show featuring smart people, stupid people will pretend they like it because liking it makes them feel smart. I once had a coworker who had a calendar from that awful show, and each month was a different quote. When I saw it, I kept thinking, "How is this funny? That's the best you can do?"
In this list i believe Mazzarri (torino manager) would fit pretty well. I mean if you think mourinho was bad he is way worse. He once attributed loosing a match due to heavy rain. Or even Conte, on his last year at juventus when he said(multiple times) that juve would not be able to compete with top european clubs for years to come. Just after he left juve played 2 CL finals in the next 3 years.
@@k.i.d8442 🤣🤣🤣 Rashford is NO world beater either. Fuck me it must be depressing to be a Utd fan. Thats where All Cities fans have come from, all those glory hunting Utd fans from the 90s must have jumped ship 😂
The orange tinted glasses are used to filter out blue light from device screens which can cause eye strain, restlessness and also throw sleep patterns out. A lot of gamers where them too.
The Bournemouth thing isn’t total bullshit. Wearing orange tinted glasses cancels out harsh light from screen glare and some lightbulbs and can significantly reduce fatigue and make getting a night’s sleep easier
Roy Hodgson also said that Liverpool "weren't too big to be in a relegation battle or go down". The worst manager in the history of Liverpool Football Club.
Ole Gunnar’s comments about Man City respecting them for playing a strong team in the League Cup Semi-final even though no sane manager would disrespect a Manchester Derby that important has to be Man Utd’s most deluded quote
I am really terrified of seeing a player in the wall have their head blown off by a free kick ever since Robin van Persie could have been killed since he had a football kicked at him
Bolton as an established Premier League club were miles ahead of Burnley when Owen Coyle jumped ship. Times have changed but it was not untrue at the time.
Moyes: "Manchester United aspire to be like Man City." van Gaal: "Manchester United fans set their expectations too high." Maybe deluded isn't the correct term here, but both pretty horrible things that come to my mind.
Wenger's *I could've signed everyone under the sun comments.* He just came out with *I could've signed Sancho.* 😒😑🤦♀️ I love that man, but he needs to stop coming out with these *We could've signed this player like Ronaldo and Messi comments,* seriously.
