Actually met Dick Night at a New Year’s Eve party a few years ago. I agree that they needed a new owner but he saved the club from extinction so he deserves a lot of respect

Now we need a video of who the Top 10 would be in this situation... - Norwich, Sheffield Wednesday, Nottingham Forest, Birmingham City, Stoke City, Preston NorthEnd, Sunderland, Portsmouth and Charlton Athletic would be my suggestions as the clubs most likely to have gained from those new owners not being able to buy any of the current PL teams :)
As a Preston fan I can say under our previous owner I literally have no idea where we’d be. But we’d be in the premier league if our current owner dipped his hands in to his pockets and actually bought decent players instead of league 2, LOI and SPL fodder. 😒

Very funny. But at least before the Abramovich takeover, we had never been relegated from the Premier League. We were going toe to toe with big clubs, winning the odd cup every few years. And we were even the only team in London with a European trophy. 🤣
Chelsea would probably be 12th in the championship with fan ownership, probably would have been similar to Portsmouth where they'd have ended up in league 2 in 2008 and would have been rebuilding from there. Man City would have fallen to the Championship and stayed there until 2011 where they'd have fallen back to the third tier and stayed there for 2 years and would now be a yoyo club like Wigan trying to get back to the Premier League.

I think you underestimate exactly how bad the Glazers have been. If it weren't for the financial powerhouse that United are they'd have absolutely nothing right now. Without the Glazers they'd easily be dominating the Premier League still
