So now you know that I believe dinner is the most important meal of the day. Curious what you think: what's the most important meal of the day? Is it breakfast? Lunch? Dinner? 4th Meal?! (P.S. I love TacoBell and I'm not ashamed to admit it!!)

I agree on dinner, for the same reasons you stated. I think we're often told breakfast is most important because so many people either skip it or have one lacking in nutrition, so they don't have the energy they need to get through the day.

As we get older, calories aren't burned as efficiently and as a masters athlete over 55, I've noticed my body seems more adept at storing fat. Intermittent fasting, protein, and very low carb are my ways of remaining at my high school race weight.... at age 59.

I’m usually so hungry in the morning, but I don’t want to wait to go on a run (cuz I can’t run when I’m full) but if I do wait then it heats up outside. So now I just wake up really early and it works for me.

What I mean is that counting calories in and of itself is actually how you know whether you're going to get fat, lean or not change. The possible unwanted symptoms is another story.

The only way counting calories won't work is if your calorie count (consumed) is higher than your calories burned. Otherwise, it works. Pretty basic physics. I count calories, but I don't worry about every single calorie. I aim for a 1000 calorie daily deficit which is actually pretty easy for me. But if my deficit is 700, fine. 1200, great! It's the only way to be sure that you're going to be losing weight. It's not a fad diet. It's just science.

Explain to us that feeling of when you were at the Olympics. That moment your heading out to the track for the 800m. Knowing yourself and everybody around you are the best in the world and all y’all are within minutes of hauling ass like never before. It’s the OLYMPICS! That had to of been pretty cool. Nick Symmonds I have another question for you and you may not have an answer but that’s okay I’ll ask anyways. So I’m going to be a senior and last year I ran a 11.6 100m. That was my first time running track since 8th grade and I loved it so I decided to email some small d1 schools as well as some d2 and d3 schools my time. Well a d1 school 8 hours from me responded back and I have been talking to their coach a lot and he wants me to visit the school. How do I go about asking/telling my parents I want to visit this school to run track and field at when my parents don’t know that’s what I want to do in college because I have never told them or even showed any interest in it in front of my parents?
@jonnyrg7489
@jonnyrg7489 5 лет назад
EliteProductions Easy, just casually bring it up with confidence and let your parents know that it is an official visit so the school will be paying for your lodging(food and rooming if staying overnight) and possibly your travel costs so it’ll cost very little to nothing. If you’re more worried about letting them know that you wanna pursue track in college rather than the actual visit, then that shouldn’t be a problem since your parents will probably support you in whatever it is you do as long as you show that you are committed and determined to succeed in it. Good luck man!

@SunOmega

@@aaronlodwig2389 But you probably dont know that only about 30-35% of that protein is used by your body, that means the other 70% is converted in sugar. So really zero sense to do that diet if you want top performance.
