They want everything and give nothing….it just gets worse with age

This video could almost substitute as a biology class on parasites. The description of these vile human beings turns my stomach.

When Little Shaman said 8:22 "They hate you for the exact thing they need you to do, but they'll also hate you if you refuse to do it-- because they need you to do it." I felt that.

They never freaking learn. They never have consequences for their actions and all you can do is leaveeeeeeeee

What you want narcissists can never give.

Problem with narcissists, even if they aren't shouting at you or cheating, they are selfish and inconsiderate and never wrong. So you'll have arguments to which they'll never admit fault, they'll think you're bullying them so they look elsewhere thinking they'll find someone who will appreciate them, cos they're never wrong remember???

My experience is, that narcs do get over taken by a dark force. And the behaviour I have witnessed is evil. Maybe they can be civil one minute, then next minute their eyes go dark. And they look, sound and act like they are possessed by evil. Also I have been in a separate room from a narc, and I could literally feel, their mood switch and the evil emminating from the room they are occupying. These people are evil. Praying to Jesus is the only way I have managed to stay safe against these cruel individuals. 🙏

This is the pill to take to wake up from the matrix and never look back. Thank you thank you thank you. I’m free.

They like seeing me as stupid, lazy, corrupt, evil, as a "Jezebel", etc. They even want ME to bear their own narcissism for them! That's like them committing murder, and sending me to prison or deathrow FOR them!

Everytime I listen to your videos, I am able to release my cognitive dissonance more and more. That was always my downfall and what lead to me breaking no contact. My empathy would get in the way, even with "friends". Once I heard your videos, I became less angry about everything and realized what it really was. It really had nothing to do with me, I didnt do anything to deserve it,it wouldve been the same for anyone else in my shoes. I had to look within and hold myself accountable for allowing this behavior in my space. I had to acknowledge my mistakes and ways I have also mistreated people....I was so busy projecting, thinking everyone was like me that although I was doing nice things and going out of my way for people, I had expectations for them to treat me a certain way or see me in a particular light in return....which is also a form of control....you cant force people to see what they cant grasp or understand....this stuff is deep....Sorry to rant but thank you Little Sharman....just thank you❤❤❤

My name was smeared in the workplace by a teammate (peer) who was jealous that I was living on my own and had also just returned from teaching and living abroad. She, on the other hand, was still living with mom and dad and dependent on them, and ungrateful for it. I avoided her and her flying monkeys for a year before crying to a supervisor about their terrible mistreatment, which forced the narcissist flee to another company, and her flying monkeys detached from her.... These types of individuals truly don't know how to help themselves, and they punish you for it.

Exceptional content. What is most appreciated, is the way it's presented with objectivity. It allows for healing to think of this disorder as more matter-of-fact. It supports the assertion that it's not as personal as we think, although they do like to target people with characteristics that enable the behavior. Once we get this down, there's far less chance of that. Thanks as always, Little Shaman. You're helping a vast number of people with your succinct and accurate teachings.

I always said that the biggest fear of some folks is the fear of being normal just like everyone else in the world.

Because I’m a longtime reader-listener, this merely confirmed a lot of what I have learned from you about people with narcissistic disorders. It is definitely a “thumbnail” of all things that influence the narcissistic individual. The person in my life was never “diagnosed” with NPD, but from all the descriptions you give, he meets the standard of diagnosis by having all nine of the requisite characteristics. To come to the realization that there is NO WAY that I could ever meet his needs has been HUGE in my recovery. My “training” in childhood, by my similarly “wounded” father, had me believe that I would be the one who would show this man that he was lovable. When my father died, refusing to believe that HE was lovable, his death obviously influenced me to find a man who represented my father, so I could prove to HIM, as I couldn’t with my father, that he is lovable. HUGE FAIL!!! Many of my own “habits” and responses in life have been challenging to change. But EMDR therapy has been making inroads into that area of my mind. Thank you for your brilliance and your insights into these individuals. By accepting how and who they are, we become able to HEAL. Blessings! ❤❤❤

One of the last things I told my ex was; "it feels like you need me but dont want me"... I was going to follow that up with; "... and I dont need you but I want you". I didnt say the last sentence since I knew she had already made up her mind dumping me. Now, looking back, I had no real idea what narcissism actually was but I somehow managed to speak to them as if I knew. Hard to explain, just a really weird feeling when I get that flashback from the breakup point, from time to time.

This is so sad and I’ve never heard it said so well!

I really needed to hear this today. My sisters (both narcissists according to my therapist) are suing me over the property we inherited from our mom. The trial is next Monday. The things they're saying about me are insane, irrelevant, and even contradictory. For example, they claim I locked them out of the house, but they also took pictures - including pictures of themselves - inside the house they were supposedly locked out of. How does a person who isn't stupid not see the contradiction there? "I'm locked out of this house, and here's a picture of me inside the house." One of the things we're fighting over is my mom's engagement ring and wedding band. My sister removed them from mom's hand at the end of her life in order to keep the nursing home workers from stealing them - according to her. She promised several times to return them while mom was alive, but "forgot" to bring them each time she promised she would. After mom's death she sent several emails in which she referred to them as part of the estate and said she had put them in the custody of an attorney. Then the story evolved over time to the point that they're claiming mom gave one of my sisters the rings while she was still alive. She made this claim nearly five years after mom's death. (Yes, this has been going on for nearly five years, and I am so emotionally battered it's unbelievable.) So, my sisters who never had any time for mom while she was alive (mom used to say she only heard from them when they wanted something) and left me to do all the work in caring for mom at the end of her life are somehow trying to stand reality on its head and make me out to be a terrible person and them the victims. What made me think of this was the Little Shaman's comments about the narcissist's belief that good people get what they deserve. They literally used that argument in a filing to the court. I don't "deserve" mom's rings because ... Idk ... I'm a bad bad person? It's a bizarre argument with no legal foundation. I have the same right to mom's rings as they do. Deserving has nothing at all to do with it.

Best videos of this type on the internet. In this video, Shaman is spot on with the personality and common actions. I would like to stress, however, that these cowards can go for years hiding the bad emotions. These covert cowards operate against those he feels offended him, behind the scenes. He will manipulate, steal, hide things, destroy things (usually with fire), and break things you normally enjoy. He will set traps that'll cause you or someone you love "accidental" injury. All the while knowing that nobody would ever, ever believe he did any of those things. Be careful, the covert is by far the worst. Thank you for the great videos, lil shaman.

Honestly, I think it is the best "in a nut shell" descriptions of narcissism that I have ever heard - and I, like many many others, have watched a TON of videos explaining narcissism since I have had my world turned upside down after meeting and foolishly falling for one.

She came and left because we walked away to take pictures with friends. It was my sons day and she couldn’t take it. Here he graduated with honors and his family walks out on him. Correct, I asked for to much and he said he could not handle me. He also said I expected to much. He said he only had money and sex to offer me. He won’t offer anything else. I did everything but make money. Talking to me everyday for 2 hrs was to much and inviting me out on a date once a week or invite the kids and I out on a family day twice a month. Saying I love you once a day and wearing his ring to much to ask. Calling me once a day was to much at lunch time. Also before I get attacked I read In a relationship book 2 hrs throughout the days was a good place to start and I really needed that connection and attention from him. He cannot function on his own he needs a caretaker he can’t even pay his bills on time. How can they function at work and be super successful? In their marriage need to be taken care of, and can’t pay their Bills sometimes.

My boss wants to be viewed as a humanitarian (pffft) and a "Renaissance Man." In other words, he wants to be good at everything, and knowledgeable about everything. He also wants to be the funniest person in the room.. even though he's not! He is shallow, vapid, loud, rude, stupid, and also very wealthy. I once made the mistake of telling a light hearted joke at a business dinner, and a lot of folks laughed. He glared at me as if he wanted to kill me.. his eyes were black and scary. I won't make that mistake again. I now go along with whatever ridiculous tangent he's on (which changes from day to day) and developing my EXIT plan before I'm turned to dust.

My Narc hates being told no. I have started to set boundaries for myself and he has no respect for them. He wants sex all the time and if I say no then he starts to accuse me of seeing someone else. He is like a spoiled child having a major melt down. He is jealous of my kids, grandkids and even my elderly pet whom needs attention. He wants ALL attention on him and no one else. It is the point I get sick at thoughts of him coming home from work. He mentally drains me and sucks all of the life out of me. If I wear more make up than I usually do He starts making comments saying who are you going to meet. It does no good to even reply an answer to him.

I had a narcissistic female friend she would speak very sexually when I reacted she would then say that's not what she meant and pull away, saying I was revolting. 5 years this went on, then she left...her final words it's run its course which was weird because nothing had happened indeed the only thing she ever did for me was buy a small bottle of water ...she said all I want is your money. I feel like I was conned. It makes me feel sad and also exhausted

My ex partner is now in a relationship with my uncle who is 30 years older, making co-parenting our daughter so challenging and it’s clear she has the inability to really love. She also destroyed a lot of relationships in my family by playing the victim and worse of it all she using our 6 year old as a tool. Very cruel person.

And with Christmas season and family gatherings ahead, my family narc already started her mischief December 1 with “standing her ground” over a party invite. Someone thoughtfully invited her to a party and she makes it soooo complicated. Just in time for Christmas! I agree with you completely and I can't THANK YOU enough for all the Narcissists videos you have been contribute to the mind of Narcissists and that helping me to make sense of why I got discarded in a speed of second after the love bombing. I am heart broken without any communication and blaming me was all my fault and he never do anything wrong even I knew he got a new supply or I was not the only supplies at the same time ... One think I DO NOT agree is Narcissists is not a child and I understand he got abused at his childhood but it is NOT OK to injected the pain and lies to the Narcissists new supplies in order to get Narcissists supply .. And it all wouldn’t be so bad, if they weren’t like a tidal wave coming at you, overwhelming you. But, they take on this idea that it’s as if you’re not only an object, but that you’ve somehow been given to them, as a gift or blessing, to unobjectionably fulfill every need they have. You? You don’t need anything else. You don’t have any other purpose. Saw this with my mother and my neighbor. It’s as if you’re being treated like you adopted them and they’ve now been betrayed, because you decided to give them up, when you never adopted them, in the first place. I know that outsiders just feel, why don’t you just not think about it. Although my mother is now gone, I well realize that my neighbor thinks of me, every time I walk around my apartment. It is a stressor and I’d like to move, but I’m in probate with a narcissistic sister, that even a friend said that I might need a restraining order.
