Josh is somewhat like a "secret" leader. He's an adviser to them since he's the eldest. And as of now, he is being called the PPop Ambassador coz he got the rapport with other PPop group members.

Josh will never be a weak link .. if you see their concerts, you will be amazed by his commanding presence. It has been told several times that he has the best stage presence.. although all of them do have this strong stage presence, Josh presence hits differently . He truly owns that title being the "most charismatic member'

I'm a Kpop fan, a VIP to be exact and even though I'm a Filipino I never checked them out.. I hear SB19 often on local news and tv ads but I was never interested on them . Actually, I would find myself calling them Kpop wannabes on some occasions without watching any of their stuff. One day I saw Stell on a Disney production number ( I actually watched it coz of a family friend Jea who sang with him) I was completely blown away by Stell .. but still, I didn't check SB19 out.. Their performance on FOX 5 NY suddenly popped out my feed and I decided to watch. I was so proud .. they sang live while dancing without those horrible autotunes that I often see in Kpop performances. I spent the rest of my day binged watching their Wish Bus stuff.. they are all amazing and I regretted all my past actions towards them. I told myself, this is the group worth stanning .. their live vocals blew me away especially Stell but there's something in JOSH that literally captured my heart in their performances. When I learned this story about him, oh my, I was really impressed how he battled his obstacles in life . He is the true definition of an "idol".. An idol who isn't just good in dancing singing and rapping but someone who's an example of courage, strength and perseverance. I simply love this guy!!!

Josh is the reason why I stan SB19. His charm and crazy talent lured me in this world, and his life story inspired me. He literally "recruited" me as well into the A'tin fandom! Josh Cullen Santos will forever be my first PPOP love!!! ❤‍🔥❤‍🔥❤‍🔥

Josh is just special, very interesting character. Must be really smart to know at a very young age when he needed to make radical changes in his life, and brave enough to actually do them. He demonstrates at different points in his life and the SB19 timeline that he's not just a rolling stone...he has an eye for key moments where change is needed, and he takes matters into his own hands. When they joked about him being the recruiter in the group, he said (and I'm paraphrasing) "When I want something, I do something about it." He knows how to put himself in winning situations. Life deals him the worst possible deck of cards, and he still emerges a winner. But having said all that, I think his kindness is what's most special. Some people who've had little kindness in their lives have little of it to give. But some people value it even more and amplifiy it, instead. That seems to be Josh. I always have a soft spot for Josh because of it. Edit: I won't be surprised, too, if he's the key person who pushed for them (SB19) to leave ShowBT and start their own 1Z. He seems to be at the helm in interviews when that topic comes up.

The grade 3 genius..who take ALS just to get a highschool diploma..he has it all. ..hearing how he speak during interviews, you wont believe that he only reached grade 3 in education before taking ALS after how many years..he really is very hard working..he is really the BOSS..

Josh so humble despite his talents..

Next to Stell..Josh is one that I really admire...He is streetsmart, wise, financially literate, sociable , exudes genuine leadership that radiates in the group. Stell once said that one of the reasons why he cannot leave the group is because he would miss Josh' remarkable decision making skills.....I have such respect for Josh..

Though i admire all the other four members but i'm more soft when it comes to Josh Cullen! As a mom..i can feel what he's been through during his younger years but he fought for it in his positive ways! As what he said in one of his vlog.."Never destroy yourself"..and he did it..and look at him now! His life experiences molded him into a strong but a loveable person! And yes! I had sleepless nights too when I discovered SB19 2 months ago. I binged watch everything about them and can’t believe didn’t know they existed, and regretted that coz I just missed their concert in Singapore 4 mths prior to discovering them! Hope they come back so I can see them live! Always love your reaction videos! I look forward to it daily!

In his channel, he removed his Q and A video about himself that was shown in this video. It was long and painful to hear about his past. The questions and answers provided were inspiring and uplifting. And it's inspiring that he gives back to the community. I deeply admire Josh for his ability to turn his fate around through his own strength. During a game played by SB19, Ken selected a question asking if they believed they were stronger than Josh. His response was simply, "No." During the interviews, a question was asked about who among them is the most street smart, and all four of them answered Josh. He is not the weakest link, everyone works together to improve themselves and become stronger, there is no weakest link. Josh is the opposite of weak. They pursued their passion and dreams with great determination and successfully achieved them, it was inevitable that their talents would be discovered and appreciated by others.

Yes, Josh is one of the reasons why we stan SB19. He inspires so many people. When Josh disclosed his dark past, there were sort of sensitive issues that did not tackle in Chuck's content. According to Josh, while living alone away from his family at the tender age of 14 or 15, out of desperation to survive, he said, a lot of people manipulated him and took advantage of his innocence.( read between the line what he said . He was beginning to cry but he cut the video) . He even thoughts of committing suicide because he was suffering from depression. But, he decided to choose the right path to make his life change for the better. He said, there were times those memories still hunt him. Those experiences molded him to be the person he is now.

When life bombards you with one blow after another, it's very easy to just give up and lie flat on the ground. But Josh went the other way. He stood up time and time again and fought back. What Josh did really deserve respect and admiration (as well as the other members). This is why SB19 is so strong. Individually and as a group, they slayed their demons against all odds. 👏👏👏

With all the struggles he’s been through, it will be easy for anyone to rebel and do the wrong things, but he chose the right path and didn’t give up. His story is really inspiring. If you look at him right now, you cannot trace the pain and hardships he had experienced. The way he talks and how he delivers himself is much better than others who are college graduates. His confidence is overwhelming. He truly is amazing.❤

OMG, this the first time I hear the story of SB19 Josh, and l am so shocked, what hell he has gone through which we would not know because it's so sad but it also shows us what a strong tough man he is. l always say "God loves us then l would say God don't love me too much", when the trails are too painful to bare. But there is another saying "God will not give what we can't carry or bare" . All sufferings l have gone through l used unknowingly us as my strength to get out of a place l don't want to be at. l am still going through life with it's trails not alone but with God. When I first learned about Josh's story, it made sense why his rendition of Mapa had so much emotions to it. I also see him as the sub-leader. Bec he and Pablo are the oldest in the group and Josh is very streetwise, he is the glue that holds the group together. And the rest of the group also look up to him (like on difficult interviews). From my perspective, Pablo is the one who nurtures the group's talents (ie. singing and appreciating their strengths to be the best performers) while Josh is the mental and emotional support of the group. He was the one who helped Pablo while he was going through depression. His personal struggles and how he overcame them had given him a different perspective and skill as a life coach. Which is he used to help the group when they were going through the most difficult times of their careers.

He is the big brother of the group. There are snippets oh him guiding and rounding up the members, even Pablo, and he is together with Stell, the unofficial PR team. He is open and real, and I personally found to easiest to gravitate towards him in person (how I wish I could remember what he said to me though 😅). He looks you dead in the eyes and makes you feel like not only are you worth talking to, but that you are the most important person in the room.

I followed sb19 because of Josh. He inspired me.

There was an interview where Pablo said that when they all left, josh kept messaging him to go back and be positive. Pablo said he ignored most of it because he is experiencing depression that time. Until he finally replied to Josh. 😊

Damn!!! This story of josh made me cried like a river. So inspiring and bcoz of that i love and respect sb19 even more.

That's why I sensed sometimes a leadership rivalry between him and Pablo during interviews. Pablo admitted the really one that formed and made sb19 as a group is Josh. Josh usually did his own thing or go his own way while performing(taking his shirt off or showing some abs) and he knows Pablo is kinda strict or conservative about it but Josh is also quick enough to make ammends with Pablo because Josh of course acknowledge Pablo as the leader of the group. In terms of decision making that involves money and their future undertakings, Josh is the one that makes crucial decisions.

Josh said in his youtube video about his past that that family who lengthened his shift hours wanted to adopt him so he can become a lawyer, but they immediately backstabbed him as soon as he said that being a lawyer wasn't what he wanted in life. Now, I don't really know the full story, it just came from Josh in his youtube video but if it is indeed true then they really are cruel. They only wanted to adopt him to use him.
