Last time I asked what your favorite pokemon was, so whats your favorite Digimon? I've always liked terriermon because he's fluffy.

The best thing to happen to Digimon was that Pokemon became more successful. Because Pokemon has become so successful with Digimon's original target audience, the creators and rights holders realized that they needed to go in a different direction. Hence the darker, more adult tone and direction of many of the later series and games.

digimon has heart, pokemon has professional developers. until relatively recently digimon games have been mediocre (technically and game design wise) but the digimon team feel like they care so much more.

I honestly never understood why people needed to pick a side. I ate up all those "mon" things as a kid. Pokemon, Digimon, Monster Rancher, Fighting Foodons...

Digimon Tamers is my favourite anime series ever. I don't consider myself a "digimon fan", I just really REALLY like how Tamers was written.

I used to think very highly of Gamefreak but recently(Especially with some of the nonsense they are pulling with the Lets Go Games like Arbitrarily restricting the player for no reason,and removing mechanical improvements from other gens) they seem to have lost there touch. Quite frankly the fans are kicking there ass severly with the amount of great fan games and rom hacks that have come out. It is a sad sight indeed when I am more excited for Episode 19 of the fangame Pokemon Reborn than Gen 8
